Well! after a great day we had a little miss-hap with the PM shot. DH is learning to do the injections and Queenie flinched, so she did not get all her insulin :( But I'll be home for a stretch of days now so hopefully I get her back on track quickly.
 
I'm figuring the 389 was a food spike. I'm also thinking that since she was pretty steady and then continued to drop after the fur shot (but not dramatically so, that the Lantus stays on board a few hours into the next cycle. I think waht this should tell me is that if I shoot low it would not be a bad idea to give a little gravy right then. That's what I did yesterday and it seemed to work....
 
I got a 100 point drop in 2 hours. I gave just about 2 tsp of gravy and some low carb food and will check again at +4. I don't like these hard drops, and I don't think Q likes them either.
