Zener was feisty this morning! I was warming up his ear with petting (and blowing and rubbing) and he gave me a swat and a hiss for my trouble. So I made a cup of tea and then he settled down a bit. We shaved the dose last night and are getting some good action this morning. Quite frankly, he's getting really tired of all the poking so we may be carbing it up a bit. Poo patrol was successful and Zener celebrated with the Happy Crap Dash! I'm feeling OK, not a whole lot worse than yesterday morning. I've got the vaporizer going, taking mucinex, vitamin c and yin chiao (chinese herb from the acupuncturist), and trying to rest.

OT: just saw a kitty going through the yard limping badly. :sad: I hope its bean helps it.

Thinking of Katie, Tess, Morgaine, and others who are ailing. Happy Caturday LL!

Very nice start for Zener. You might want to keep an eye on his numbers. I think he's plotting to keep you busy.

Hi Liz, glad you are feeling better, and the tea did it's magic with Zener. :-D The mucinex always helped my cold, along with the other remedies. It looks like Zener is fishing for some greens with that nice blue so early in the cycle. Have a nice day, Liz, and feel better.

@Linda - the tea was very helpful for Liz but Zener would not drink any. He wants a special tea bowl like in Celi's picture, not a stinkin' tea cup. :lol: :lol: :lol:

@Sienne - eyes on numbers all day then he started a blue surf and Liz gave him a little pokey break until PMPS, and he was still low blues. He does seem to have an action plot in mind in the near future! :razz:

@Ann & Maggie - Zener is not as keen for tea as we are, but he does like rituals around food. ;-) No greens in the AM cycle but the night is still young. And Liz is not feeling worse, so that's good news.

@Celi - you are the best! What a great picture. I especially like the dumbbell on the floor in the right side of the picture! :lol:

Today was weigh day and for the 2nd week in a row, Zener gained weight. He is now up to an even 12lbs (last week 11lbs 12oz). He was 15lbs at diagnosis almost a year ago, and was a bit heavy. The 12 lbs is an ideal weight for him, so now we will work on maintaining! He also jumped up in Liz's lap today, something he hasn't been able to do since his diagnosis. We have a box beside the recliner that he uses as a step, since he isn't able to jump much because of his CH. He got up on his step, then up in her lap. It is so great to see him feeling better and doing the things he used to do! :razz:

Hi Liz and Anne - what a nice day for Zener! The numbers are really great. You must be pleased. It was really nice to read that Zener was lap jumping - I love it when I read that kitties are retuning to some of the things that they used to so. AWESOME! nice too on the weight gain - that Zener is where he should be.

Looks like you might be having another pj party tonight...

Vyktor says to tell Zener that he might be way ahead on challenge points right now but to look out cause he's been having lots of flat yellow so some green surfing action could be impending...

@Serryn - could be a Caturday night PJ party, because I have an 8 am meeting in the morning to wrap up our weekend of interviewing for our new class of physios starting in August - 136 interviews in two days, whew! Zener loves to pick these sorts of times for action! :shock:

He's having a nice reasonable drop, no express train, at least not for now. :twisted: Plenty of black tea and chocolate at the ready if PJ party is in order! :lol:
