Just FYI, Kathy, a Dosecrease is an increase in insulin. A reduction is a reducie. I think TiTi does want another reducie. It's been more than six cycles since her last one. I'm not one of the high dose gurus, but I'm guessing you should go to 12.5. Perhaps @Wendy&Neko or @julie & punkin (ga) can stop by before PMPS and give you her input.

TiTi, what's with the cannonball into the lagoon??? Easy does it, girl!

Ooooooo, a reducie. Ok. Thanks.

TiTi seems to favor diving and soaring, over moderation:cat:. As Wendy said, "TiTi's entered the 'drive your bean nuts' mode."

Interesting. I used it referring to a reduction once and was told by a much more veteran member that it meant an increase. You would think I would have noticed it in the dictionary.

It is confusing, because the defining syllable that indicates what is happening to the dose is missing.
DoseINcrease tells us the dose is going up.
DoseDEcrease tells us the dose is going down.
Dosecrease tells us only that the dose is making a crease, which according to the Mirriam-Webster dictionary means,
"a line, mark, or ridge made by, or as if by, folding a pliable substance."

I suspect that in FDMB, both Reducie and Dosecrease are accurate uses to signify a DEcrease in Insulin units.

I suppose it is now evident that I can get a bit picky about the use of words.

As can I, obviously. I really hate it when I am incorrect about something, especially when I was initially correct and was told otherwise (got that?). My apologies.

Sure do hope you're not apologizing to me. Heck, it confused the dickens out of me. You, on the other hand, appear to have been correct both times! So, ("clapping of hands" emoticom belongs here) congratulations!
