Greetings and salutations! cat_pet_icon

Tomorrow my food issue will be solved, as I had Wally World order me 4 different cases of 4% carb food for The Poopmeister. No more fluctuating with the % of carbs for the Poop! Maybe now I can get him back on track.

Poop's PSs have been a bit high, as have the few mid cycles I've been able to catch. The Poopmeister is in for a curve today, and perhaps tomorrow evening when he gets his normal food back in stock. Hopefully, this will guide me in what to do, if anything, about his sliding scale.

Water intake has increased a bit, but the litter box action has not...so I'm not really convinced it's the Poop upping his intake. Other than that, everything is great!

Good morning! That sounds great ;-) When does the Poopster come home? I have not left Junior at the vet for a curve yet. How often does he go in for that? We had a wild ride yesterday, today is a new, sunshiney day!!!

Morning Teresa! ~O)

Looking forward to hearing about the results of your curve this evening. I'm heading to Wally world (lol) today to pick up a few things. Although I get my cases from Amazon, I'm always interested in variety!. Gosh, I love Walmart. t's pretty far away from me (an hr drive) but imo worth it. :-D

I do not take Poopy in to the vet for a curve since I can test his BGs at home. If the vet says he wants to do a curve, I bring him a curve. No sense paying someone for what I can do myself, eh?

That's what I was thinking! When you said "in for a curve" I thought you meant at the office.... nevermind!

Either it's been kinda quiet in Poopyville, or I've just had my head buried in the sand... maybe a combo?

Glad to hear he's doing well. I, too, questioned the curve thing...and I'm with you! I have to be somewhat conservative on the vet visits, as this is the BIG tune-up year. About 2/3 of my crew all get their 3 yr rabies this year, and that makes a sizable jump in the $$$! I actually thought about jump-starting some of them last year, so as to avoid this years crunch, but it came at a time when I was needing to stick with the program as it was. Guess if I want to WIN the lottery, I've gotta start PLAYING the lottery!

Go Poopy! (and hold out your blood-letting for those yummy treats!) ...um.... Grayson said that!

 I see what you're saying. I meant he was gonna be getting one, whether he liked it or not...as in "being in for" as a warning.

Don't you just love the English language? :-D

The best laid plans.....

Had to leave the house today, so took Poopy with me (trying to get him used to traveling in the car). Poop did well but we didn't get any readings. Took one as soon as we returned and it was unsurprisingly higher than expected for normal circumstances. Our unexpected trip took it's toll on me and I napped...until an hour after Poopy's normal PMPS! I was tired, I'd guess!

So, no curve today. But there's always tomorrow!
