Good morning LL!

There hasn't been a Tarragon condo for awhile. I was out with the stomach flu all weekend. I am finally back at tbp about 8 pounds lighter. ;) Tarragon took good care of me all weekend and made sure I knew I was loved.

The guys made it to Fort Worth for the race on Saturday. However, they ended up canceling the marathon after they were there. They had taken DH's new car and parked it in the hotel parking garage. When they went out Sunday morning, someone had slashed all 4 tires, broke out all the windows, and put something down the gas tank. What a nightmare. The car is at the dealership in Ft Worth waiting to get fixed and they had to bring a rental home, finally pulling in at 6 last night. :( What a nightmare of a weekend. Now a huge storm is suppose to hit us tomorrow. It sure seems like the apocolypse is here.
 
I love losing weight, just not that way :) I am so sorry to hear about your DH's car....that is just awful news.....do they think they will be able to find out who did it?
 
They are pretty sure they know, but nothing will happen with it. It seems to be a common occurrence with the Ft Worth parking systems, especially if you refuse valet.
 
That is outrageous! What an awful weekend for your poor boys :( For you too but at least you had the Tarragon love :cat:
 
What a nightmare! You have to wonder what some people are thinking to ruin someone's

OMG, what a horrible nightmare of a weekend for all of you!! What is wrong with people?????? I think all of you more than deserve a "spa weekend" for yourselves....some serious, hardcore pampering. Sending all sorts of vines your way for a MUCH better week this week...
 
Melissa, I'm very glad that you are over the flu. 8 pounds!!! Hope you're feeling better today.
What an awful weekend for Brian and Mason! There will be other marathons, but I'll bet they won't plan to do the Fort Worth Marathon again! I hope the car gets fixed. There sure are a lot of depraved people in this country. At least that particular idiot took out his aggressions on a car and didn't go out and shoot a bunch of people with his perfectly legal gun.

Mr. T. Your beans are home safe now and mamabean is feeling better; it's ok to bring your bgs down.

I am so sorry! That was a lousy weekend for everyone. At least Mason and Brian didn't have the stomach flu too... Back to bidness, Mr. T, enough of that stinky pinky. Big hugs to you, Melissa.

How horrible. I hope the car gets fixed soon. I'm glad you're feeling better. How sweet of Tarragon to give you all that loving.
 
What a miserable weekend all around! I'll bet you're all glad it's behind you. I hope your insurance covers the damage and your rates don't go up! The more stories I hear about people doing things like that, the more I love animals!

Sending lots of good luck and healing vines your way, and some safe sliding vines for Tarragon. Mr. T, it's safe to come down now! The apocalypse is over!

How terrible for DH. I have a couple teammates who planned to run Fort Worth, they skipped and tried a race in Roanoke, VA and that was canceled, too! It's frustrating enough when that happens, the vandalism on top of it is just ridiculous. At least they did some visible damage and didn't just sabotage the gas tank and let DH try to drive. Still godawful, but at least he's safe. Hope it gets cleared up ASAP.
 
Oh my! what a terrible thing someone did to your DH new car. And just because he didnt use the valet?? does that mean the valet is suspect?? grrr..hope they find who did it. Slide down some please Tarragon..momma bean needs something good to happen today! hope the storms not too bad.
 
Sorry to hear that you were under the weather this weekend, but kitty cuddle always make me feel better, and I would guess any cat owner would be the same. That is absolutely horrible what happen to the car. Sometimes you really wonder what people get out of doing that sort of thing.

I hope the coming week is the complete opposite for you and your family.
 
Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! I'm so sorry to hear that you were sick and hearing what happened to DH's new car makes me sick. What despicable people there are in this world. :( Feel better vines to you & scritches for Tarragon for being a good nurse to you.
