Stella's Condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=90109
Good Morning all!
Stella was making a lot of racket this morning in our new apartment. She sure likes it here a lot! Both her and Boo run around the circular floor plan like a race track every so often. She wasn't doing that, but she is howling up a storm chasing little creatures I can't see with my eyes. ;-)
Sienne thanks for the Welcome back! I hear you loud and clear. I have gone through a very rough patch that has made it difficult to get the nadir for Stella. I understatnd how important it is and it is personally driving me nuts! We have found a kitty sitter here in our new town that we are trying to set up a meet and greet with. Our new vet also seems to be nice as well. He actually knows a lot about feline diabetes and was very impressed by how much all of you had taught me on this board over the last year and a half of Stella's journey. The vet techs also seem to have cared for diabetic felines that they had in their households, so it may have taken moving across the country...but Stella now has a group of knowledgeable 'advisors' other than our group here. Whew!
Everything is in place for Stella this morning. She is one happy furball this sunny day! If anyone has advice on how to set up Stella so I can get a urine sample for the vet's blood work please advise. I was given some beads and a syringe to get the urine. It seems simple, but with the other kitty this might get complicated. When I get the sample should I place it in the refrigerator until I can get it to the vet? I try to pay attention to what the vet says, but I guess I was overwhelmed in a new office with two kitties and a group of nice people hahaha... I will call them Monday if nobody knows.
Thanks! Time for some
I look forward to getting to know you all again and meeting the owners/kitties I haven't 'met'.
Mary
