No vomit overnight. And he seems to be willing to eat the Wellness Core served straight from the can again, so that's a relief. In an effort to keep it fresh and not give him too much at once I'm splitting it out to 4 meals per cycle instead of 2.

Glad you are splitting the food up into more feedings a day. Diabetic cats do better with more than just 2 feedings a day. It's easier on their pancreas. Many of us do multiple ones anywhere from 4 - 6 ( we do 6 a day. 6:15AM, 9 Am 12 PM , 6 :15 P, 9 PM and 12 AM) . I try to do the last one of each cycle prior to the middle of the cycle so that the food doesn't put the breaks on the insulin.

Yeah I tried 4 per cycle today but it's not leaving him enough time to finish each meal, so I think I'll try 3. Don't think I can get them all in before mid-cycle yet, he's doing better but he's still sleeping a lot and I have to go plunk him down in front of the bowl to get him to finish up. I'll work towards that though. I'm crossing my fingers we'll get another night of no vomit and I can stop giving him the meds and hopefully that will further improve his appetite.

I'm thinking the smaller meals might be helpful for the vomits too. Fingers and Paws crossed.

Hi Justin just saw that Sebastian is dropping on the late part of the cycle. No food now (unless you have to)
I would get a +11 as well as amps, that way you eiwi be able to tell if he's dropping, flat or rising at amps.
Helpful if you are facing a lower than usual amps.
If he's on the rise or flat ok to shoot and monitor as you may have to feed the curve.

If he's dropping significantly, you may want to stall without feeding and wait for the rise.

Hopefully he's been good overnight.
I'm at the town hall doing some errands/presenting paperwork so I at likely not be around when you are ready to shoot. But I will check in a little later
