LOL! I totally agree, Sammy is doing amazing, compared to the numbers from just two weeks ago. I guess it is the perfectionist in me that wants it to be the perfect environment for healing and potential to return to the falls.
Thanks Sandy, I took a look at Black Kitty's spreadsheet and see how you took your decreases, and I will keep that in mind. Sunday was the first time that we had two cycles in a row that were under 120. I guess we will just have to see how it goes.
When I saw Sammy's AMPS this morning I was really not expecting it. I was a bit nervous about him still dropping so I gave 2 teaspoons of 8% with his regular MM at AMPS. Now at +1 I wish I had waiting for the numbers to warrant the 8% because he rose up to 76 in an hour. I know, I know this is still perfectly fine, but I was hopefully we could keep him surfing in the 60's today. It is still possible because we have insulin in the system.
Fluids are due tonight, but I might wait to see where Sammy is at PMPS, and might hold off until tomorrow morning or tomorrow night.
Thanks for all the support everyone. I really appreciate it.
Sammy is doing fantastic!! If you don't believe us, just go back and look at January!!
Not only a sex change, but "something" sure has clicked for him!

FWIW - Our first reduction based on being all in normal numbers was after 27 cycles at 1.25u; we reduced to 1.0u.
It was a very weird feeling.
The balance of BKs reductions were earned that same way.
15 cycles at 1.0u
37 cycles at 0.75u
17 cycles at 0.5u
21 cycles at 0.01u
It took 2 months to go down the last bit of the dosing ladder to OTJ trial.
I caught about a dozen blues throughout those 2 months, the highest of which was 108.
Yes it makes sense. What you need is to string together a few cycles that are not influenced by anything.
To do that you will need to loosen up on the reins a bit, sit on your hands, observe and keep an open mind. Sammy is leading this dance and it may differ from the last one.
Follow his lead - the numbers will be your guide.
