Mornoon LL! Moonie is doing well today, had a bit of pukus last nite, little food, little bunch with hair, in a few spots, but nothing bad...Hope she got out whatever hair was bothering her..
Fed her lc at +4, gave her 3 tsp MC at +5 to raise her..waiting now for her +6...
Went out to drop DH's car off , & picked up some more MC at pet store--
Cats arent children they say?? They sure cost as much!! But we LOVE them

Great Article in the Drs foster & smith cat catalog, about feline diabetes mellitus: Explains it and says" while several types of insulin exist, glargine(Lantus insulin) is currently the preferred insulin for cats..Monitoring & fine tuning the insulin dose are necessary to maintain a healthy glucose level"!!
WELL I AM IMPRESSED--IN THE LATEST CAT CATALOG FROM THEM--ALSO SAYS SOME NEWLY DX'D CATS WHO RECEIVE GLARGINE, MAY BECOME NON-DIABETIC!!
Couldnt find it to reproduce for you, but gave quite a good explaination!!-Wish I had a scanner..
Anyway, seems like we are in the loop now--Hope it helps newly Dx'd --& newbies that read it!

Have a beautiful Caturday--Hugs & love from us!!
