Morning! Maggie is such a sweetie. As soon as I pop open the strips bottle she wakes up from sleeping on the footstool of the recliner and hops over to the sofa where I always test and gets into place purring away. She gets a reward of a tiny bit of Gerber baby food. All P's in place today. I had a big enough drop, so I tested on my Relion, and it tested 89, so Maggie is really green, as most have human meters here. That's a 40 point difference. Does the Relion possibly test lower than some of the other human meters?

Can't help with the human meter question. Just want to say her being all purry and cooperative for gerber babyfood is seriously adorable!!!!

Moonie hears the click of the lancet & the beep of the meter & up she goes to her testing place :lol: :lol: :lol: --Also purring away--Guess she knows she's getting a treat!--They are all so sweet!
I often wonder, how we trained them to do this confused_cat confused_cat

No meter help since I use freestyle and my relion is only a back up nice amps ;-)

sorry - no meter help, we use the infinity.... nonetheless: awesome numbers for Maggie!

Mannie hears the microwave when I warm he rice sock, the opening of the test strip bottle, always shows up, purring too. It makes it so much easier when they are "into it".

for awhile, the Relion was reading significantly lower than the Nova Max Plus for us...then last comparison day they were almost the same...

i can't demonstrate proof, but i think the relion reads a little lower.

Maggie is having a good bg day! Pat, it was a good suggestion for me to feed her more at the +8 and none in between. It really does make a difference. Thanks everyone for stopping by today.
