Lola and Bug, aka PawPrints Pizza, are making their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! Anybody up for a cherry pizza? They look like the NYC skyline, in honor of their adventures with Rusty in the big city this week.... how thy do that? make pizzas that look like NYC? weird. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! We gots CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE too! as well as cheery cherry frappes! I love cheery cherry Mondays.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. It was a great day for me yesterday. I managed to dodge the latest rain storm coming through her and make it out and about for a while. It was a nice hike, a bit wet, but nice. It sure was a wet one here yesterday, rains all day after about noon or so. It was coming down in sheets about 5 PM. and the forecast says T-storms expected til about 9. I wondered if we will get them or not, they never did show. The mountain here were getting hammered once again, heavy snowfall, avalanche control closure, and now minimum hour delay getting through. crazy! I came home after my walk, and cleaned some, spent the rest of the day working on photo files back up to CD's. Such a time consuming task that is.... alsmot done. YaHOO! Here's what I wrote yesterday about the day: "Morning everyone! ~O) ~O) ~O) I do be cold outside! Elsa!! Best make some more hot hot hot ~O) I decided early on this morning to head on out for a shore walk/trek/hike through the woods to the shore at Meadowdale. It really looked like that would be the best time to go. I got lucky I think: the rains had stopped, the winds calmed down, and the awaited snow did not show. YaHOO! It was a little chilly at 35, but still proved to be a nice hike. There are so many things that have started to bud in the woods. Last week I found this rather large patch of snowbells, so I had to go back today to see if they were still in bloom. Sure enough! Just a nice as they were last week. When I got to the shore I found a harbor seal on the beach, just snoozin' away. We do get them alot here, and they will come ashore to rest and sleep on the beach. Often though they are gone before the humans show up. Lucky in that regard this morning too: he was still there, sound asleep. it took him a few minutes before he sensed me, and then off to the sound he went. He didn't want to have a thing to do with me. So it has been a cine morning, and I am ever so glad I got out. As I type this the winds are picking up, the skies are darkening, and no doubt those rains have decided to make an appearance after all... I will post the link to the Picassa hosted photos in tomorrow's condo. Have a great rest of the day, everyone!" And... it is raining again this morning... fun. not. ;-)

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. I remember writing this last week, and it is so true for this morning too:What a great addition she has proven to be for our family. She's full of mischief while also being one of the sweetest cuddliest lap kitties I have ever had. She's camped out on my lap as I type this, hear resting on my arm, purring away. It as been ages since I did a photo shoot of the Three Musketeers, so we took that on yesterday as well. What fun, and they even cooperated, for the most part! YaHOO! With the weather being so stormy and wet the kitties were in bed mode most of the day yesterday. SMART! Elsa had to go out for a bit, she insisted. It wasn't two minutes later when I turned around and saw her at the door, paws and front legs stretched up as high as she could reach on the glass of the slider door, with these loud meows. Translation? " LET ME IN! NOW!!!!" So I did, and dried her off. Silly cat.  Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. If the weather clears some I may go do some local hiking. :-D That is really doubtful   so I will hope for a weather window instead.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

That is so cool with the seal on the beach. How neat that you caught it sleeping. I love the pictures of the musketeers. I hope your weather clears so you can get out today.

Re: 3/3 LOOSE LIPS: flowers...rains... & Cheery Cherry Monda

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pics, etc. It really was cool to see that seal. We all know we have alot of them here in the sound, but to find a pup sleeping was really cool. I hope so too on the weather. I won't complain either way: at least we do not have the cold and the snow that so many others do.

Re: 3/3 LOOSE LIPS: flowers...rains... & Cheery Cherry Monda

You live in such a gorgeous area! I wish I couldget up there , but w/ Tess john gets to go visit DGS alone. I hope you get a chance to get out at least a little today.

Lola! Wow can you spin! Did you see me leap right over Tess's head??? Boy did that surprise her! You want to play you-know-what today? -- Emma

Hi everyone! I hope your day is going well. It has been productive here. I've moved two small TV's to make them more useful and accessible per room designation when there are conflicts between what the DGS wants to watch and DH, one TV allows cable stuff, the other does not. One loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, the other not so much.  I've got most of my video and photos backed up to CD's. I have just the DGS photos left to do. wow .... there sure are alot of those..... I got the house vacuumed too, with Lola and Bug's assistance. WOOT WOOT on a roll here. SO... since the weatehr just took a turn for the better, i.e. the rains stopped, I think I shall head on out for a few before it gets wet again. off to the woods and the shore! :-D

Hi Ann - THX on the pics. We are fortunate to always have the green here, some seasons more than others, but always green. I so know on not being able to make the trip. Having FD kitties can put a damper on some tings. I so admire those that could make travel work. We never could. Mannie always took those opportunities to be in dive mode, or on the moon. Plus, he hated to be in the car. I can only imagine him on a plane. Someday I hope you will be able to make it up here. Paws crossed!
Emma - AWESOME! I saw that!! You gots to do it again! We gots to be careful though . I think Tess may be on to us.... heeheehee! Lets do it - I am so ready.... ON my way ~~ Lola

Hi Terri - THX on the pics. It is so fun for me, love taking photos. I feel guilty that we have so much green, and so many are up to their knees in snow, and just way to dry. We are just wet, but green. I too an so looking forward to spring. It cannot come soon enough. THX on the kitty pics! And yes, both DGS's are doing great: healthy happy and very active. They do keep me on my toes. :-D

Re: 3/3 LOOSE LIPS: flowers...rains... & Cheery Cherry Monda

Thanks for visiting us, Elsa ~O) and MIchelle :-D . I love the kittie pictures! The basket ones are priceless, they're all so cute. Elsa looks unimpressed  . I hope the weather improves so you can get out and have some fun  . Scritches to the kitties!

Re: 3/3 LOOSE LIPS: flowers...rains... & Cheery Cherry Monda

Hi Michelle - I just had to stop in. Been a while, although I usually read your posts. I just got back from a walk, the rains eased off here after noon. Hope it does there too so you can get out again. So cool the salmonberries are blooming there! They and the huckleberries are budding up so should see some flower action soon here. That means rufous hummingbirds will be here next. I also saw a cherry tree in bloom in honor of cheery cherry Monday.

Love the photo of the seal pup. Momma seals will often leave their pups on the shore while they go off fishing. Someone I know had a pup left in her hot tub (not heated) one day. :o

As usual I love the pictures of the furkids. I just want to reach out and tousle Lola's fur. They all look so soft and loving.

Re: 3/3 LOOSE LIPS: flowers...rains... & Cheery Cherry Monda

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one and that your evening will be as good. it has rained here all day, until about 2 or so, when it all stopped. now I'm looking at blue skies, and winds. It is amazing what a difference a few hours can make. Snoqualmie Pass in the mountains has been closed all day, just reopened a few minutes ago. Stevens has been on and off all day. It has snowed hard most of the day there, now it's warmed and they are getting rains and freezing rains. it just doesn't stop... they expect to re-close the pass again in a few. I am so so glad I don't have to deal with that. The hike to the shore was nice, a bit wet, but still nice. With all the rains we had yesterday and today there were puddles everywhere. I was kind of taken back by the reflections that they all offered, so took some photos. The sky was ever changing too, so all in all a very nice time on the trails. I will post the Picassa photos in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Rachel - THX on the pics. I liked the basket ones too. She so had to be in there, and then proceeded to play with the weave pattern on the bottom. and yes on Elsa - she was unimpressed! THX - the weather did get better so I headed on out. Now I'm looking at an incredible sunset. So so pretty!

Hi Wendy - THX for the visit. I'm sorry I keep missing you. I read your subject lines try and read the condos too. Neko has been having some good days! I was able to get out too, after about 2 or so when the rains stopped. YAY! Now we have the prettiest sunset. I thought so too on the salmonberries! the Huckleberries have just started to make the buds and leaves. We get them about a month or so after the salmonberries. Already Nicholas is looking for them on the trails. ;-) WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!! A cherry blossom! Elsa will e so excited! THX too on the seal pup. I love the bath tub story - that is too funny. THX too on the furkids pics. I love Lola's fur - it si so soft. She has a beautiful coat.
