will put in his numbers asap. if no1 sees on my old post, my question is....can u reinsert needle into lantus if u have an inadequate dose after bubble is gone? thanks.
thank u!
he was good for blood test today we sang "my Larry lies over the ocean", and this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybeke7_d1zE
he likes 50s 60s and 70s soft music, and a few nursery rhymes. they remind him of his grammy, and mammaw
well, he said no way! to the counter. then in the floor he was ok! strange. i see no rhyme or reason except sometimes he is ok on the floor. im just glad when he doesnt panic or jump.
we ended up with what i hope was a s2.0 after squirting out air/insulin and reinserting 3 times. the tiny bubble is always there unless i go down to 1.5 or so then i start over. so after 3 times i hope there was 2.0, bc there may have still been a tiny bubble. :YMSIGH: these bubbles make me postal. cat(2)_steam
I actually use a change pad thingie from a baby change table for Sammy. She loves it, it lives on the dining room table most of the time, and gives her a place to perch where she feels "superior". It also saves my back, and then I can give her lots of toves and time when I test her.
Not a clue on the ear wash either but I'd be inclined to distrust it since its by the same manufacturers as petarmor which has be known to cause seizures in cats.
I'I personally don't mess with eyes or ears without a vet's supervision. Just too delicate to guess.
thanks, u all. the vet had said use alcohol but it seems to harsh to me. thats what he did in front of me, and his ears r still yucky. poor baby.
he has seemed to have a good day evn with that high nadir.
he jumped in a chair and laid down by himself then i put him on the bed and he slept there most of the day like a regular cat like good refreshing sleep. when i go chk on him, he yawns. soooo sweet. i have always called him my sweet boy. <3 i evn woke him up for his test. he was so good. just sleeping like an angel! larry angel.
Glad Larry was good for you today and feeling good too. I know just what you mean about bubbles. Those Walgreen's syringes were driving me so crazy too!
