Doodles 3/2 Very heavy heart for Donna today while her sweet Flame joins too many others at the bridge.

Doodles mouth has been open and I can hear his muffled breathing which is nothing new. Last night the coughing was a scary one but only the 4th time since the beginning of the year (that I'm aware of). It's the first time I broke down and gave him 1.25mg of hydrocodone which is used as a cough suppressant and help prevent further lung damage.

He's eating, wants attention and is currently watching bird TV between napping. No poop yesterday and I've already increased his miralax to 3 times a day. Since I made a trip to Diamondback yesterday and was out for a few hours in the afternoon I told Doodles I'd stay home with him today.

I'm so glad Doodles is doing a bit better today. I know you hate giving meds, but if the stuff helps him be more comfortable, I'd say go for it. I know his QOL is very important to you.
