good morning all. Dropping by for some input here. As you can see, Spot is pretty high this morning, and there is a reason.....
Around 2:30 a.m. I was awaken by this horrid vomiting noise, got up to investigate and found Spot finishing up vomiting....I looked at it, it was his +7 snack and this HUGE fur ball, or at least what I thought was a fur ball. Upon further investigation, I found it to be a huge piece of paper towel...now why he ate a paper towel, i can't answer, but he did. I stayed up for a while to observe him...he threw up a little bit more of food, but stopped, and then just sat around for a bit. I was holding him for a while, he decided he didn't want that, left and went to his kitty condo and proceeded to nod off. He wasn't meatloafing or seem to be in any distress. When I offered him some fishy flakes, he ate them with gusto. I figured that if his appy was this good, he was ok, so I went off to bed, knowing that his ambg would be higher than usual.
Got up this morning and Spot is ok...had a case of zippy pants and is his usual, pacing self, when not zippying. He came right to the testing spot, purred purred purred, ate his treat and is now waiting for his breffis.
My question....should I give a drop more insulin on this? I'm thinking no because if he is ok, this should come down by itself, but I'm also thinking that the drop may help bring it down more. Any advise or input? I can wait a half hour before hooting, but he is going to eat now.
Thanks!!
