3.3 @ +9 ?!?! Help!

HI Everyone,

I tought I had everything under control with hercs today. He went down to 4.6 at +6.5 and I just assumed he was then climbing up. However, he was acting hungry and I decide to check at +9 to confirm he went up, and founf him at 3.3!
Not sure what is going on. He should be going up, so don't want to pack hiom with HC. Gave him a tablespoon of his normal food and a lick of honey, and will check in half an hour. Am i doing it right? should I give HC food?
 
No HC or honey unless he drops under 50 (2.8). He's really far along in the cycle. Once you get him over 3.9 no food, check in 1 hour to make sure he's heading up then if he's still over 70 check in another hour. He has to go 2 hours without food propping him up before you can stop testing.

Reduction earned, maybe skip tonight?
 
Hi @Panic ! I must confess I am following the Hercules method, which is probably no good....:oops:

I was trying to follow the MPM, but his patterns just do not fit with the reccomendations. It seems like no two days are ever the same, so is very hard to decide whether we are bouncing, or adjusting to a new dose or where the nadir is....:arghh:

The 8th is when I had just increased his dose, so I thought I gave another day to settle down before changing again. He always seem to react strongly the first day of an increase. Then, the second day was quite flat (perhaps bouncing?). Today it was looking good. I changed his food schedule to try to reduce the initial drop, hoping to reduce bouncing. Today was looking fine, and then boom! unexpectedly low this late in the cycle..... I just want to cry....:arghh::arghh:
 
Dont cry even though this seems like a mountain you are climbing its ALL very valuable information. Makes the mountains more like hills when you look at the big picture.:bighug:
