Leo is doing pretty good. His severe hypo was on 1/20/2019. He took several weeks to recover. His appetite is generally good now with down days and up days - but never like a bouncy 5 year old cat (Leo is 12.5 years old). He rarely purrs these days, so we miss that part of him.

Since January, I have kept him on the same doses:
2.25/2.5 in the AM, to counter the prednisolone
1.5 in the PM for a safe sleeping dose

He has done pretty good on those doses, but still quite bouncy. If you look at the last 2 weeks, the doses are consistent but his BG still is variable.

Currently he is not on chemo. The last dose was in January, and he didn't eat for 2 days. Yeah, I know he should get it. But if the cure is worse than the disease, it's not much of a cure for Leo's small cell lymphoma (SCL).

Leo's custom spreadsheet
- the first tab shows the recent 30 days
- the next tab is first half 2019
- the first tab mirrors entries from the second tab

Hi Jeff, I love the pictures. It's good that Leo is feeling better and eating better again. I agree with your assessment that when the cure is worse than what is supposed to be cured, back off on the "cure". Sending lots of feel-even-better vines for Leo.

I agree with Ella re: the chemo. Leo looks splendid, and LD, well you know how I feel about that velvety center. So nice that you can get out in the sun and get some rays. It's good for the soul. Send some of that warmth up here puleeeze. Hugs to you, Theresa, kitties and puppies.

Good to hear that Leo is feeling better than he was. Nothing better than a sunny lap! Neko didn't do well on the more frequent dosing of chlorambucil either. The biweekly protocol was much better for her appetite.

Note for any lurkers, Jeff isn't following either of our dosing methods.

Hi Jeff. Love the photos. I'm glad to hear Leo is feeling better.
Can't comment on the chemo as I have no experience with it.
Hope Leo and Little Dude continue to enjoy the sunshine.
