Yesterday a day almost the same as the one before, but she mixed it up a bit at night and showed me the green. But momma, auntie Tricia and auntie Marje said I had to find the lagoon. Darn cat never listens to me. :lol:

Neko was full of pep this morning - greeting us downstairs as we came back from rowing. Seems that's the only time she uses the downstairs LB. :lol: And she checked out the deck after breffs, but not for long, the rains have started again. I'm leaving her in DH's care for the day as I'm off at a quilt retreat. It's only 10 minutes away and I can stock up on cat treats at lunch time.

Another good long row. I was in charge of the boat with three heavyweight men - love having that power in the boat. Daylight is starting to show up during the row - the herons were flying into their daytime fishing spots as we headed back to the boathouse.

Happy Caturday everyone! Thinking of Dyana today as she remembers her sister.

Wow, that is an awesome AMPS . Would she listen to her auntie Rachel if I said to give the same number for PMPS and surf for the night?

When I first skimmed your post, I saw the LB word and thought I read "Neko was full of poop this morning" :lol: . I'm a speed reader, so I had to slow it down...after a good laugh! I hope the DH is having a nice day with the kitties, and you with your quiliting! Man, that takes patience. Now I know who to bug when I need to buy a new quilt ;-) . Happy Caturday, Wendy!

That is a beautiful AMPS, Neko. How did you do with the rest of the cycle?

Wendy, sounds like you had/are having a great day. I didn't realize that your crews were co-ed. Are the races, too?
Quilting is also big in this part of the world, but I am a klutz with needle and thread, so don't take part. (I was asked to leave the Brownies at age 7 because all we did was sew and I wanted to hike, so I took the big spool of communal thread and threw it out the window! My mother was mortified! :lol: )

I'm back, looks like Neko had her standard day. I told DH to test at +3 or +4 and he texted me the +4 and said he chose +4 because his lap was busy at +3. Neko does love her daddybean lap time.

@Julie - A great but early start to the day. I'm beat. My back was sore from rowing then had to lean over tables for sandwiching - all they had was child height tables. :shock: The sacrifices we do to get away a bit. :lol:

@Michelle - The day started out well for both. I love how the rain held off for our row and started just after we got in. I saw a sunbeam for about 5 minutes this afternoon. :roll:

@Rachel - Sorry, I wasn't home to read your suggestions to Neko, maybe tomorrow? Quilting also takes time, a lot so you need a dedicated day every once in a while to make progress. Fortunately DH could handle things.

@Ella - Typical Neko, up for the day and down at the end. Some of our rowing races are mixed masters, as well as just mens or womens. The only races I've won have been in mixed events. Too funny on your Brownie days. :lol:

@Carla - It was good to see that green - dosecrease on hold for the moment. Quilt retreat was productive, and lots of good food and friends. We still talked cats of course. :lol:

Super day for Miss Neko. I wonder if she's going to throw you more green in the wee hours of the morning when you wish you were sleeping after w full day of rowing and quilting. Hope they had yummy food at the quilting :lol: :lol:

How sweet that Neko sits in her daddy's lap while you are gone. Glad they had some bonding time
