Mikey has his dental tomorrow, and the bean is trying not to freak out! Thankfully, I'm on a deadline to finish the top of a quilt we (meaning I) am making for a gift for my aunt's 90th birthday. The girls are supposed to join forces to tie it next weekend, so it has to be ready. Most of them can't even thread a needle, so this will be interesting. It's also why it's getting tied and not quilted. My point, which I'm not doing very well at getting to, is that the quilt plus some school work has kept my mind pretty well occupied. That seems to be the key to avoiding a general freak out. We'll see what happens when I get in bed.
I have a note all written for Don to give to the vet. It asks that Mikey not be given Convenia, and that his weight be noted on the discharge instructions, so I can tell if I have to adjust the amount of food I'm giving him. Once he got back to a normal weight, I cut his portions back, so I want to check that out. I also added that the vet should have a talk with Mikey to explain that cats are not supposed to run away from mice. I'm hoping Dr. Mowry can get through to my poor whimp!
I know Mikey's is the first of several dentals this week, so we'll all going to have to stick together. We'll get through this! The cats will be fine. The humans, not so much
