YESTERDAY:
http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...77-pmps-151-2-5-120-4-25-67-5-53-6-58.135289/

Max kept me up late again and I finally fed him and left food out too. He ate some and then got on my bed. He finished it at some point as there was a clean plate by amps. He is hungry this morning. He ate his baby food, used his box and had a big poop and after announcing it to me is eating the cat food too. Nice start to the day.

Vines and prayers for all in need with extras for Amy's DF, Marje's DM, Tricia's Sasha and Minka, Marilyn's Boomer and anybody else that needs them.

Hi Elise,
Max looks great this morning. So glad to see that he's enjoying his fuds.
Thanks for visiting us during our vetty sojourn. And for the vines (for Rusty and for me!).
Enjoy the day. The LagoonMeister thinks that Max will wade in to the lagoon soon.

I think the lagoon is coming sooner rather than later so I'm thinking I better not leave for a class as I wouldn't get back until +5. In fact I am going to stay home this morning and try it. I just fed him again and he has eaten enough so I'll test but not feed until either +5 and see what happens.

Love the morning report. Cleaning his plate over night. Good boy, Max. Now, be good boy all day, too!

Thanks, Elise for the thoughts on Boomer. My vet told me radiation was really the only option for Boom at this point. But his age, kidney disease, and the logistics of traveling at least four hours one way for the treatments, along with the mostly palliative nature of the treatments...well, he's going on tuna and walkabout, and lotsa loving therapy for whatever time he has. Months? More? All I can offer him...each day will be magnificent!

Marilyn and Polly

It's a nasty disease, Marilyn. I'm so sorry. I would do exactly as you are. I might see if there are any holistic or unproven not invasive treatments to try. If vines and prayers can work know that so many are sending them his way.

Nice day for Max today! Sorry he made you miss your spin class, though. I don't know why they haven't learned to schedule their BGs around our lives yet. It should be rather simple!

Lots of vines to your DM, I'm glad she made her hair appointment at least. I hope she's feeling much better soon.

Great that Max ate well today and pooped too!:cat:. What a nice green surf he has going :D..hey Max..momma likes it when you go on top of the bed instead of under it..good boy:)

What a great day for Max!! And even better that he ate all his fuds!!

Good boy Max!! Keep it up! It makes your mamabean so happy!!

Sorry about the spin class, but we do what we gotta do, don't we?

Be a good kitty tonight and surf safely, Max....China's down at the lagoon tonight too...but of course she went cliff diving!!

Thanks for the visits Patricia, Mariko, Laura, and Chris. He was a good boy today. I could have left him this morning but I'm trying to figure out when I can and when I can't. Mr. Unpredictable doesn't make that easy for me. Since he hasn't been eating the food I've left out when I gone to take a class, I worry what if he drops while I am gone. I know he's okay up until +3 most of the time, but some days I wouldn't get back until +4.25 or on Sundays it's closer to +5. Not a huge problem obviously. I'm just attempting to figure out how to have a life beyond FD.

When you get all that figured out, Elise, please share it! Of course, ECID, but I'm sure others could benefit from your discoveries! :p I know Cinco absolutely delights in keeping me on my toes. He gets so little entertainment, I guess I shouldn't begrudge him this.

I'm glad Max is eating so well when you are home, at least! Sending lots of good appy vines to keep him doing so. Prayers for your DM, as always. Thanks for thinking of my girls. :bighug:

But while he keeps you dancing, you have figured out how to have an evening out. I just had a conversation with a friend last night whose boyfriend is a vet. She says it shouldn't be necessary and keeps asking me what my vet says about it. Of course I don't discuss it with him. She says people work and have families. I just keep saying there are lots of people doing just what I am. I know I can skip an injection once in a while but can't get myself to do it just to go out to dinner and a movie.
