Try not to get discouraged. It just takes time. For all you know he's dipping into good numbers during the day and you're not seeing it. Furball does that to me all the time. When I work, I don't worry about the PS numbers being higher because I know they don't really tell me what she did during the day.
If you don't want to do a full curve (every 2 hours), you can try testing every 3 hours. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Well, so much for every three hours *face palm* My brother was over this morning to take stuff to the dump for me, so honestly, that distracted me enough to forget about testing, and I've been cleaning the basement ever since :banghead: But I'm home all day tomorrow, I promise to do better!

I've no reason to believe the insulin is bad, but should I seriously start a new vial?? (No, don't panic Darcy . . . test more tomorrow. See what he's doing during the day) . . . okay, pep talk done ;) LOL

Thanks ladies!!

Well, there's SOME good news! Even after ALLLLL this blasted PINK I just managed to get a ketostix test and he's totally negative. Thank goodness!

Sadly, my girl Fiona (my wee little house panther) is declining :(. She has kidney and thyroid issues. I've not been regularly giving her sub-q fluids as she really REALLY hates it, but I did manage to get some fluids into her this evening. She's already perked up some and is eating a little better. So it looks like I'll be adding that to the long list of meds and assorted "stuff" for all my three seniors. I pray she stays healthy enough to experience the new house, with the two little porches. I hope to add a "catio" to the backyard this summer.

I swear . . . I'd FILL MY HOUSE with the seniors if not for all the health issues that inevitably come with them. Kittens are adorable, STOOPID cute, but I love the quiet serene beauty of seniors. They just have a worldly calm that seems to come with age :cat::joyful:

I hope I become that beautiful in time
