I don't know if the switch to lev and the interruption caused the numbers last night, hopefully it will be a short interruption. Tomorrow is dosecrease. I will be upping it just a bit more than .5 to hit the 1/2 marks. I think she can handle it.

This morning we go get a new tv. The sound on ours is shot. As long as you leave tv on all the time you can just about hear it and that's with volume all the way up. It seems to take a few hours for sound to warm up. Some shows you can hear at all, but commercials seem to be loud.

Funny DH helped neighbor hang his tv yesterday. Then neighbor was trying to do all the programming. He says "I just want to watch my movie, I don't need all these settings". I guess there is no such thing as just plugging in and turning on anymore. Our tv is 10 yrs old. We don't have modern technology in this house so when something has to be replaced it can get frustrating to figure it all out. Why do I need tv sync with my phone? What is the purpose of tv being on WiFi. What is Roku?
 
I hope Olive shows you some better numbers today!
I hear you about the technology. I hate to admit it but my DH does it all and I don't even know how to find some of the shows that we watch on a regular basis :rolleyes:
 
Technology is to make things easier....yeah....right.....the hallway light burns out and the toaster ends up having a meltdown.

Hope Olive comes down soon.
 
Looks like a case of NDW last night and good she came back down. I understand getting back on the line but if it were me I'd only do a .25 increase after 4 cycles and go from there and then do another increase after 4 cycles at .5u if warranted but that's me.

Yes, the TV technology is crazy. Luckily DH knows that stuff. We switched to internet TV...Netflix and Sling with regular antenna TV which reduced our TV bill from $160 a month to $40.

I thought about the .25. Didn't think it would do much now. Pretty sure she will hit the 6+ units. I thought but could be wrong that with her not moving much she could handle it. Once she gets better then of course the smaller. Am I wrong?

Now regular antenna TV, is it a subscription? Regular antenna to me is the d fashion antenna on the roof and the tv had rabbit ears. Internet TV what is that?

Our 48 inch flat screen died ( which we bought with President Bush' Stimulus check so what 12 years ago) I took it to a TV repair place and it cost 180 bucks to repair. Saved us a lot of $$$ TV's that age and older are not disposable. Lots of junk being built now.

It's a one time suggestion to do the .25 so you're back on the line and increasing every 4 cycles.

No subscription, it is the old fashion antenna on the roof. Netflix and Sling are subscription and connected through the smart TV capability which is internet based.

So you pay for internet hook up but not cable? Netflix is movies, I don't know what sling is, yet. I will look it up. So you get national networks. What about channels like TLC, HGTV, Science or military channel, TCM, Lifetime, Animal Planet?

Ours the sound died. I thought it was a 40" tv. It's only a 26" at the time I didn't think anything bigger would fit in the corner so it didn't interfere with the windows. Yet the screen size was fine.

Now we have a 43" it's not a smart tv. When you walk into the room you certainly notice it. I could not handle anything bigger. Room is small so it's close.

Yes, you just pay for the internet connection and then whatever streaming service you want. I have always refused to pay the ridiculous prices for cable. But now with streaming, we have Netflix and Hulu and just recently decided to try amazon prime. All of this for way less than what I know several people are paying for cable. You don’t get all the same cable channels, but when you never had them ... you don’t miss them. Lol. I actually lucked into a price for life phone and internet bundle. I won’t update it, so they just recently told me they were updating my internet speed for free because our old speed was outdated. :) With Hulu, Netflix, and prime all less than $10 a month, we have a ton of options for fairly cheap.
 
As long as you have an Internet connection, you can buy a Roku box or something similar (e.g. Apple TV) and be able to see lots and lots of channels. With internet and a "smart" TV you can also subscribe to things like Netflix and Hulu. But in order to get the networks (NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, etc.) you will have to get an antenna. Depending on where you live you can get away with a simple antenna that sticks on a window. Check out Antennas Direct. They have modern antennas for every situation. We have their $39. antenna (Clear Stream Eclipse) in our NYC apartment and it works well, despite the high buildings. Good luck!
