Good Morning LL! Here's hoping that Tess is not starting a bounce and will have a good cycle. We have some marine layer this morning, so may not be as warm as yesterday. Ann called and will be home in about an hour. She wasn't planning to stay for the whole show, just see that it got set up.

WCR All 5 Ps, and Clean Plate Club in about 15 minutes. Hugs to all the beans and kittehs out there.

Hi John

Just checking in on Tess. I was sorry to hear you had to go back to the ER with her for some ketones but glad you got it back under control. It is my understanding, as well, that if they are eating normally, the threat of DKA developing is less but I would have done the same thing you did. A little extra caution is worth it.
Glad to see she cleared the NDW and saw some good numbers yesterday.

Gracie had idiopathic sterile cystitis for quite some time before she was FD. We tried cosequin, cranberry, feliway, rescue remedy, and a million herbal remedies (it seems). As Ann might remember, what actually was causing it (we found out eventually) were high levels of aluminum likely due to her mother being over vaccinated. This is probably not the case with Tess since she is much older and gracie started it when she was a baby.

Hoping Ann had a good trip!

Thanks, Marje. At the time of the last ER visit, we were in the middle of dealing with the cystitis, and her glucose was high, and hard to bring down. I think she only had a trace to moderate amount of ketones, but the vet there was reassuring so was a good visit. Most of the time Tess has had an infection, usually E coli, but this was different. Stress from the Ultrasound seems very likely. She is doing well now.

Ann is back and happy to not have to deal with certain members and their egos today. It's nap time right now.

Way to clear that bounce, Tess, smoothly and safely. Now may we please see some prettier numbers tonight? Nothing too dramatic, mind.

I'm glad she's doing better and that the vet visit gave you peace of mind - priceless, in my opinion.

I'm glad Ann's home now and I'm sure the kitties are, too (as well as the DH)! :)

Morning Ann and John :coffee::coffee::coffee:

It was nice to see good numbers for Tess yesterday. Bummer on that +11 this morning. I hope the R will bring that down nicely.

Welcome home Ann. I hope your adventure went well. I imagine it feels good to be back.

It is so great to read that she is doing well now. Kudos to her expert caregivers!

Have a good day today. I hope all goes well.

I missed a lot of Tess's adventure owing to adventures of our own, but sure am glad to see that she is getting back to normal.
I hope the Bonsai show is a great success. I'm sure it is spectacular.

Have a good day, guys!
