Hi Everyone,
Did everyone see this op-ed in the NY Times today? "Respect your Cat". Today is apparently "Cat-Appreciation Day".

Rusty had a good night, an early zoom and play with his new favorite toy: the cap from the toilet bolt, and now the LagoonMeister is checking out the sharks. I'm not surprised, since he had a flat low-blue day yesterday. He has two new Deputies and he may be training them in deep water rescue (welcome Deputy Squallie @Squalliesmom and Deputy Leda @Madrona and Leda )

More rain today. Mud Season is here. The streets are a filthy mess.

Yes! But I disagree with the author that cats don't understand English. I know that Rusty does!

Rusty, there is such a thing as taking your duties too seriously. No need to get such a close and protracted look at the shark nets. A quick inspection from a safe distance is fine.

My cats understood English just fine, as well as a little Spanish. Like Neko, they picked which words they chose to pay attention to.

Recently Steve lost one of his hearing aids. He's been looking in places where it might have landed. I look in places and recesses where it might have landed after becoming a cat toy!
