last condo (it's been a while)

I increased Murphy from a fat 1 to a skinny 1.25 yesterday -
He's been good lately (anti jinx)

Everything is still unchanged - right now, I am planning on going on safari with the wildlife vets in 3 weeks but my opinion about whether I should go changes daily depending on how my mother is doing. My vet found someone who lives very near to me, who had two kitties (1 with IBD and 1 with diabetes) who both died around Christmas. Ive met her, and she has agreed to care for Murphy if I go on the trip. Of course, I am worried about how that would go over with Mr. Murphy.

I really hope you can get away on this wonderful trip, Carol. An elderly unwell parent and tricky FD kitty are big burdens that wear you down. You need a break from it all if at all possible.

Work that juice, Murphy! I know what you mean about constantly flip-flopping about whether doing something for ourselves is a good idea. Iti so tough to commit with so much going on. I hope it works out that you are able to go...sounds like a great opportunity!

praying that you get to go on your safari and get a break from all you have been dealing with for months now... if your mom is safe and has good care and Murphy is safe and has knowledgeable care then it should be easier to go ... time to find those blues again Murphy... you have been yellow and flat long enough
