3/28 Kona AMPS 272, +1.5 320

Yesterday sucked, once again I had to go to work all day and put some food in the automatic feeder and it was too much. Came home to a 381. It's been about a year since DX, I've never seen these numbers so high when she bounces. I totally feel like the day she went to the ER and hit over 400, she broke some kind of BG ceiling and now her body bounces that high. Before, slightly over 300 was high, now we see higher 300s.

Anyway, I'll keep at it! Hopefully they start to go away... takes time.

Moving on!! -- Today, Kona goes to the Vet. I just gave her 100mg of Gabapentin. She is getting an exam and blood work done because she is getting a dental next week. Cleo is getting a dental as well, so she's coming along for an exam and her blood work. Cleo is such a sweetheart and the easiest cat in the world she doesn't need gabapentin.

Wishing you the best of luck at the vet today. I totally understand the struggle of naughty, feisty cat going to the vet. Ivy is AWFUL. And it is creating huge problems for her care.
I pray Kona is much better behaved and they can handle her with ease and gentle care.

Oh a double whammy vet visit- I hope all went well for both kitties and that Kona starts to come down to a better zone and stay there. I go through this with Jack, and yes, it seems like once they bounce super high, their bounces are higher going forward. We just gotta keep on, keeping on I guess....HUGS and wishing you all al peaceful weekend!
