Nice to see a few blues again, at least. Last night looks like a bounce break cycle ... I have to say, it's very frustrating to me that I still just do not understand what bounces are or how they work. (I get the idea that a cat's system can "freak out" if it encounters numbers it's not used to, but so many longer-term diabetics do lots of bouncing even though those lower numbers aren't new or unusual for them.) I wish I knew how to look for relevant research, but I'm not sure if there is any, and I'm pretty sure "bouncing" is FDMB-specific terminology, right?
Anyway, glad to see him starting to work this dose! We'll see where it takes him.
Gen's struggling a bit with having his feeding schedule curtailed (he's used to having a full 12 hours to pick away at his food, and now I'm giving him 4-6 at most). He barely ate half his PM meal, and was poking and whining at me two hours before breakfast time while I was still trying to sleep. I hope he adjusts. May need to institute a smaller snack time, though I really want to keep food/carbs to a minnimum in the second half of his cycles.
He also refused to start eating his breakfast this morning (when it was finally time) until I sprinkled it with some crumbled freeze-dried tuna, and when I got home from a morning out, he yelled at me and would not be satisfied until I added some more. At least he seems to be feeling spirited, I guess?
I hope you're all having a lovely weekend, and that your kitties are surfing safely! I'll have to come by again later to catch up with you/them, as my little tyrant has appeared to stand on my chest and paw at my face (gently!) with his claws out. Dude, okay, you can have some attention!
