He dropped like a rock last night...

278 AMPS

Fed HC at +4.5 and +6. Hesitated on the shot because of the bounce, but did it and made sure he ate... Concerned that the AMPS might be a food spike since I fed all of them at +10 (regular meal -- 1/2 can FF each).

YAY!! I get to sleep tonight! Tomorrow will be a somewhat stressful day. All 4 cats go in their kennels while the pest control technician is here (they all get treats, too, because they're being good).

The 3 civvies go to the vet for nail trims after the technician leaves; Chuck will stay in his kennel. I try to keep them kenneled at least 30 minutes after the technician leaves, so the chemical dries up somewhat.

Unfortunately, I work tomorrow, but papa bean has the day off, so he is doing all this -- he's never done it before!! I've told him twice the routine for pest control, but I know that's in and out... I really want to be sure they dust the attic for scorpions now that the weather is getting warmer. Dallas (civvie) got tagged before we realized we had scorpions -- he was a very subdued kitty for a couple of days, completely the opposite of his normal personality. I'm especially concerned about Chuck getting tagged... These are not poisonous scorpions, their sting is like a bee sting. But, I really freaked when I started finding them -- most folks around here just say they stay close to the baseboards (not!!), travel in pairs (EEK!) and just deal with them.
