Finally back on track nailbite_smile ........at +6 last night (1am), he was still red. This morning's blue was a shocker. I had to test a second time, with different meter, to believe it.
He's eating well. He seemed to be in pain yesterday, and had bupe twice, to finally feel good.
It would be nice if it were easier to tell pain, besides watching body language.

When he comes to bed with me, he likes to be stroked and have my hand lay on him; it's comforting for him and me. Last night, he growled, when I touched below his neck. Bupe time.
Today, he's active and happy.

Hey Barb - to answer your question over in Mag's condo..."BFF" is a brand fuds...B.F.F. (Best Feline Friends). They flavors are all seafood based, but they appear to be good in carb and phosphorous content for our FD and CKD kitties. They'r on Dr Lisa's list, but I don't think they're super easy to find. My local Ma and Pop pet food store sells them, so I've been trying them with Trix the past few weeks.

Checks is well and happy today. :-D I'm glad he started to rise when he did, as I had to go out.

My son announced that they were bringing Easter dinner to my house, on Sat., since I couldn't get there Sunday. :-D
I go to his in-laws for Easter, and because the dad has to work, dinner will be too late for me.

I'm really pleased that they are being accommodating, because of Checkers.

Hi Barb, so glad Checkers is feeling better, and it sure shows by his numbers. You manage his pain very well just by Checkers himself, so give yourself a pat on the back. It's so hard with them as they hide their pain.
Yes, what Amy said about B.F.F., glad she answered you. I have a neat store not too far away that carries that brand and others.
So neat of your family to accommodate you for Easter. :-D

Nice surf for Checkers today. That's great he's back on track and feeling good today. That's nice of your family to consider Checkers when planning things this weekend.

Barb, it is so neat that your son & family will bring an early Easter dinner to you on Sat. Maybe the kitties will get a taste of something, too.

I hope that Checkers' back is better this evening. How's yours doing?

Headed down a bit. Oh please Checkers, no diving tonight, Mama can't keep her eyes open, and may not hear alarm tonite.
