Tonight is the 14th cycle on this dose. Maybe you can try 1 drop tomorrow morning. Let's see what others have to say.

I wish I could send you some of our sunshine and warmer temps - winter has gone on too long for most of North America!!

Thanks Jane. I think we will see 50's this weekend for the first time in 2014. We usually get a couple of 50's during the winter which allows me to brew some beer but not this winter.

Dyana, Thanks. I have been contemplating what I should do in the coming week......either holding the .25 a little longer or reducing a tad. It's amazing to think that a drop or two can have such an impact on these cats. I thought seeing a few more blues at .25 from what we had seen at .5 was maybe a concern, but Julie reassured me that in the grand scheme of things, the readings are pretty much the same.
I'll wait through the rest of the day and see if anyone chimes in but I'd certainly like to reduce if it makes sense.

dyana's right, after 14 doses and all numbers under 120, the guidelines suggest reducing again and seeing if Boots can continue holding. since today is friday, i'd love to see a daytime cycle check tomorrow to see what's going on in the days after a week on this dose. how bout considering reducing sat night or sun morning?

There are pictures on the New to the Group sticky, I believe, on how to measure 0.1u. you might want to take a look and start practicing.

Sure Julie, I'm game. Anything to move this along. I'm assuming you want every 2 hours for tomorrow's cycle?

I'll start the reduction with Sat. PMPS after I learn how to do this small dose. OK?

you don't need to do every 2 hrs - i just meant that during the week you aren't able to get any mid-cycle day tests, so if you could get a couple tomorrow that would be helpful. I usually got either a +2 or +3, then maybe a +5 or so. that's probably good enough for us to see how low he's going. he looks really great.

Child's play Julie. No problem, I can do as many as you think I need.
Starting on Monday my work hours increase to 9.5 plus an hour drive each way so the +2 I've been doing at 7:30 (shoot at 5:30) in the AM is going to have to stop. The way it's going to work is shoot at 6:10 AM and then as soon as I get home at 6:00-6:15PM. That 's the best I'll be able to do on a 12 hr. cycle.
 
I don't suppose there's any way Boots could go to work with you . . . ? Or that you know anyone in that town who would let Boots be a day visitor so you could come check him on your lunch?
 
Julie, are you meaning so that midday tests can be done? Probably not. He hates car rides. Going 15 min. to the vet is about as long as I want him to have to endure. You don't think getting just PM tests is enough? I will be able to do periodic AM and PM tests on Sun.
