Hello LLL!

Billie has not been feeling well for the past couple days. Her appy has been off, and she had one diarrhea incident yesterday and one borderline diarrhea/very soft poo today. She has been playing and socializing a bit, so she must feel at least somewhat okay, but there's definitely something going on.
I got ondansetron for her today. Her vet prescribed 2mg twice a day but I did some snooping through condos and it sounds like most kitties take 1mg? So I started with 1mg since she has never had it before. I crushed it up in some tuna water, and she drank it without a problem. She just took it an hour or so ago. I'm not sure how long it takes to work but she did come out to eat a little more just now. I am trying Instinct chicken since she doesn't appear to be allergic to chicken after all. It is very brothy, and she seems to like that.
She had been doing a lot better until yesterday/the day before, but now the IBD/lymphoma/what to do next question is back on the table. I got some help from the Yahoo lymphoma group (thank you to Elise for the recommendation) and it was suggested that we run a pancreatitis test and also do a urine culture since her last urinalysis did not include a culture. I talked to her regular vet and made an appointment for her on Thursday (the next day her regular vet is in) for those tests. I will call the IM vet on Monday to see what she thinks.
If the urine culture and pancreatitis tests come back negative, her regular vet thinks our options are to treat this as IBD with a steroid for a while and see what happens, or go for the biopsy. I think the IM vet will recommend the biopsy. I am still hoping for pancreatitis. I have been weighing Billie regularly on my scale (weighing myself, then weighing myself with her and subtracting my weight) and she has been holding steady at 9lbs, so she hasn't lost any additional weight in the past 3 weeks. That has to count for something.
Sending vines to all the kitties and beans needing vines!
