Well Ole' fur pants decided to drop below 50 for the 3rd time on this dose. Quite unexpected, especially the time in the cycle...+6.5. He likes to drop before +4 in most cases. His appy has been terrible today. I woke him up to get the +6.5 test and I noticed he hadn't touched his +3 "snack". I know the # drop is likely due to him not eating so, I'm hesitant to give the full reduction. Plus the first drop below 50 was on his first dose of .45u.(reduced from .55u). I figured his depot was still in play from the .55u. Hope that made sense. Thoughts? TIA:)

Thank you Carla. He's actually been easy to pull out of the 40s on this dose. I'm using Karo and 8% LC. He has been refusing MC/HC Fancy Feast so, I've had to resort to Karo. Funny thing...the karo in combination with the 8% is working better than the FF this time around. Just have to be careful not to overinflate his #s.
So, that's the quandary. To reduce or not to...and if he is reduced, a full or partial.
His PS #s are starting to increase a bit on this dose too. I know that's not what we base dosecreases on but, they do play into the overall picture.
I'm just confuzzled about what to do.:confused: Let him ride on this dose a bit longer and let him really tell me he wants a decrease or go ahead and reduce.
