All is well with Trix...happy appy, snuggles, little feisty with gelcaps, etc....

My Dad is about the same, but also has a little nausea now, too....hopefully from the AB. His onc's office said to keep monitorinig....not too concerned about the persistent low-grade fever yet. No way of knowing if some if this is side-effects from the AB or what. Very stressful and frustrating.....

I'm at work, then have to leave early to take my Mom to an eye appointment. Thinking of my L&LL family today and always....

Did they give your DF some ondansetron for the nausea. I know several people including my mom and good friend that have used it and it worked well.:bighug:
 
Happy appy again tonight....good girl, Trix! Gelcap is yet to come, though....

My Dad does have ondansetron on hand since he's on chemo, and he did take one. He was feeling "much" better this afternoon...relative term of course, but it finally looks like he may have turned the corner. He did look and sound better, too....he does have a ways to go, but hopefully this is it. This has been one of the most stressful weeks of my entire life....
 
I see miss Trixie's doing her bit to make life a little easier, she's had great numbers of late.

Do you guys have access to the medical marijuana where you are? That's supposed to be good for nausea too and a natural medicine - I'm a big fan of natural.

I don't know if we have access or not - I really don't know what the local laws are. But honestly, my Dad is VERY old school, and I have a 54 year old brother who lives with my parents because he spent his life "experimenting", so even if it were legal, any form of marijuana would not be something my Dad would go for.
 
I'm so glad to hear your DF seems to have turned a corner and is beating that wretched pneumonia. I'm sure it's a weight off your shoulders.
