Simon was in the green lagoon for most of the night. Unfortunately, DH thinks he gave him a fur shot today, so we will see what happens. Simon loves being in the greens -- he jumped up and down from the bed, raced around the upstairs, and played with the comforter covers. Of course, this was the same time I am trying to go to sleep, but I'm glad to see him feeling a little better and frisky.

Thinking about everyone that needs our thoughts and prayers. Big hugs to Michelle and Mannie and Roni and DH.

I have the day off from work today and am going to try and do a little relaxing.

Hi Georgia, it's good to see you! And to hear that Simon is doing well, except for the part where you are trying to sleep. :roll: :lol: I hope he got most of his insulin. Drat on those fur shots. How is DM? Have a great day!

Liz, thanks for asking about DM. She is doing so well. Breast cancer had not spread and she is only taking oral anti-hormone meds right now. Hopefully, no chemo will be needed.

Hi Georgia, great seeing you and a Simon condo. Thanks for visiting Mags today. I love how playful Simon was with you. It does always seem like they get that 2nd wind at night or early mornings. Hope you are doing something nice for yourself today and relaxing. :lol:

Great news about your Mom, Georgia. And Simon, too! It's exhausting when they're all feisty when we're trying to sleep - but it's the GOOD, heart-warming kind of exhausting! I hope you're able to enjoy a long holiday weekend of relaxing!
