Good Morning LL,
Another yellow start for Kismet today. He had a really nice green surf in the 70s last night, so I'm a bit stumped as to why the higher PS values we're seeing. All 5Ps, breathing is excellent, appy is happy, LB fairy is happy, Kismet is happy... so I'm not sure why he is bouncing.
The weather here is really odd at the moment. Over the weekend, we set a record high for this time of year, it was 90 and it hasn't been 90 since 1897  Last night, we dropped to the low 40s, and today we're in the high 50s. Maybe the weather is affecting him? We've been keeping the temperatures in the house very consistent and regulated... with our new AC, it was nice and cool over the boiling hot weekend, and now that it's cooler, we have been keeping the windows closed so that we don't inadvertantly trigger an asthma attack. There has been a considerable change in humidity, though, which is noticeable. That's the only thing I can think of. I thought maybe DH gave an air shot or partial fur shot the other day, but he should've cleared any bounce caused by that by now. I thought our insulin may be getting a bit toasty, but he dropped from 142 to the 70s last night. I stopped giving him Allerplex 6 days ago, so it should be out of his system by now.
I threatened him with a dosecrease yesterday, and he listened, but I'm not liking these yellows. We haven't seen yellow since March 1, nearly 4 weeks ago, and that was an asthma related spike. I'm hoping he will settle down some, if not, he gets a dosecrease to .5 units this weekend when I can monitor him closely.
Sending healing vines out to Mannie, Gobbles, Noni, and Shadow. Hugs to Michelle, Kat, Aseel, and Rhiannon. Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone with an ailing or recovering kitty, as well to all beans who are in need, too.
