Quick condo....all is well with Trix....happy appy, snuggles, Ok on the gelcap.
My Dad seems like he might be doing a little teeny bit better. I am a little concerned that he could be dehydrated from sweating so much, but (sorry to air this, Dad!), but my Mom did say his pee was not super-dark. I did get him some pedialyte, and I strongly encouraged my Mom to call the oncologist to see if we should take him in for IV fluids....we'll see if she follows through. He really did seem more coherent today, but his temperature is fluctuatng.
@Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) - Yeah, his oncologist had said his BGs are elevated. We were supposed to see an endocrinologist this past Monday, but then this pneumonia thing happened. They just started him up on insluin in the hospital because they "have to". It was actually a bit of a stressful, upsetting aspect....long story. As of now, he's meeting with the endocrinologist next Friday. This issue could be from the infection, the chemo, or the cancer. We're hoping once the infection clears, maybe it will resolve...long shot, but that's our hope.
