yesterday's condo

Still running a little high this morning, but knowing Star, he will settle soon. Paws crossed. I will get a +1 and +2, and then I have to be out the rest of the morning. Hoping he doesn't decide to take the down elevator too far too fast!

Re: 3/26 Star AMPS=346 +1=423 +2=269 +4.5=47

Got a little dip. Not unexpected. Giving a taste of LC food and testing again in 15 minutes.

Re: 3/26 Star AMPS=346 +1=423 +2=269 +4.5=47

After 15 minutes: still 47. At least it isn't falling further (anti-jinx), and he's earned another decrease! One step closer to the goal.

Re: 3/26 Star AMPS=346 +1=423 +2=269 +4.5=47 +5.5=63

Thanks, Courtney! At first these dips bothered me, but now I just think of them as opportunities for reductions! :-D

Re: 3/26 Star AMPS=346 +1=423 +2=269 +4.5=47 +5.5=63

Absolutely  Once you get over the newbie jitters, you long for a cycle like this.

Re: 3/26 Star AMPS=346 +1=423 +2=269 +4.5=47 +5.5=63 +6.5=54

Tried to test again at +7 but had my first totally unsuccessful test attempt. Got a nice fat blood droplet, but it didn't wick into the strip. Instead it just sat on top, and I got the dreaded error code. ohmygod_smile Then I couldn't get another drop from either ear. Grr. cat(2)_steam And Star, who had been dozing peacefully, got fed up and wriggled away from me. I'll try again at +7.5, but he's acting fine (as he almost always is).

Re: 3/26 Star...+2=269 +4.5=47 +5.5=63 +6.5=54 +7.5=62

Star's SS is looking really great!! Congrats on the reduction

Re: 3/26 Star...+2=269 +4.5=47 +5.5=63 +6.5=54 +7.5=62

Had computer problems and had to run a thorough scan, which took forever. :-D Updated Star's SS with all the numbers. He has come up steadily to 128 since dinnertime. Here's the rundown:
AMPS 346
+1 423
+2 269
+5 47
+5.25 47
+5.5 63
+6.5 54
+7.5 62
+10 58
PMPS 99
+1 118
+2 128

I wasn't too worried because his daytime numbers, once they got out of the 40's, didn't swing too wildly. I'll try to test again at +4 but Star is tired of testing today!

Thanks, Sienne and Cathy! And Rhiannon, I'm so glad Shadow (and you!) made it through a tough day. Hope the medicines help and Shadow is feeling kittenish in no time!

computer problems are such a pain...
glad you got them worked out quickly.
Hope tonite's cycle goes well enough you can sleep...

Re: 3/26 Star...+2=269 +4.5=47 +5.5=63 +6.5=54 +7.5=62

He's 100 at PMPS+4. I think I know what the answer will be, but should he be okay tonight? That's a little bit lower than his +2 but not dramatically lower. And he gets food at night, which should keep his numbers up, right? Please say yes. @-) I can withhold the nighttime snack and test him again in a half hour and see what he looks like. We can go from there . . .

Re: 3/26 Star...+2=269 +4.5=47 +5.5=63 +6.5=54 +7.5=62

Tested at PMPS+4.5=78. Here we go again! grr_red Giving a little LC food and then will test again in 30. Getting mentally prepared for a late night.

I think they PLAN on doing the low diving at night!

Sorry you are having late nights ... but it's all good! Both Star and you are doing wonderfully!
