Good Morning, Everyone,

The LagoonMeister is back on duty! Yay!! He had a good night sleeping between his beans and finishing all his nighttime food. This morning he was already downstairs when the "ducks" sounded the wake-up call. He enjoyed 1st sitting of breakfast (saving the rest for later) and had a good test and shot. We also had our schmooze, and Rusty had his "lung treat". His breathing sounded extra good this morning. He's chillaxin' in his little bed by the radiator.

Our weather is warming up and the snow is becoming soft and mushy. We are waiting not so patiently for paddling season to begin. It may be a while yet. Ice-out hasn't happened around here (I have my bet in for when the chair will fall into the water--April 1st at noon--but I fear that it will be quite a bit later in April before the ice melts enough for the chair to go in).

Wishing everyone a good day and continuing to send healing vines to all kitties and beans in need. Special thoughts for Rhiannon's Shadow's dental today and for Aseel's Noni to have a speedy recovery from her surgery,

Ella & Rusty

The return of The Lagoonmeister!!

Every time you describe Rusty sleeping between you and Edward it reminds me of how wonderful it is that Rusty found the best possible forever home. (He's done Stu proud!) What a love story.

Re: 3/26 Rusty AMPS 76

Hi Ella. Great to see Rusty in his normal place at the Lagoon. You're fortunate to live in an area that offers so many diverse activities to enjoy. We'll keep our fingers crossed that the chair gets deep six at noon on April Fools Days.

Have a great day.

Re: 3/26 Rusty AMPS 76

Nice numbers Rusty! And I agree with Sienne....your story warms my heart! So happy for Rusty...and for you and Edward too....so sweet that he sleeps between you two like that....hugs! :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Re: 3/26 Rusty AMPS 76, +5 118

The LagoonMeister is relaxing on shore. He is probably still headed up from whatever nadir he arrived at last night. Onset should have just begun at +5, so we'll see what happens.

Interesting that Stu never slept on the bed with us. He was too busy pounding on doors (open or closed) ! But when we woke up in the morning he was always stretched out on the windowsill, watching us and whatever was happening outside. Rusty, on the other hand, slept between his beans the very first night he came to live with us and has done so every night since. He jumps up on the bed, makes sure that we are there, jumps down to eat some of his nighttime food, jumps back up, snuggles down and goes to sleep. Sometimes he "sings" in his sleep. Sometimes he reaches out to touch one of us. Sometimes he licks our ears or gives kitty kisses and then goes back to sleep. He is such a dear kitty.

Paperwork is the project for this afternoon ohmygod_smile

Hope all is well in LL,

Ella & Rusty

p.s. to Liz: Ice-out is different in every body of water. We usually do our first paddle on a lake that has earlier ice-out than most. But this year it is still iced over. We hope to be on the water in a couple of weeks. Rivers are dangerous this early in the season because of ice jams and fast-moving water.

Love the stories of Rusty in bed, checking out that his beans are fine, such a bunch of cat love. cat_pet_icon Time for the lagoon again this afternoon?

I wonder which of us is going to get on the water first? I totally appreciate the impatience.

Awww, me too, loved the personal story about Rusty's bedtime habits. :-D
Hope he surfs beautifully, for the rest of the day, and night. :-D

I hope you're having a wonderful day, Ella

I hope Rusty gets back to the lagoon soon. That's so sweet how he sleeps between his beans every night.

Awwww I'm getting all warm and gushy inside! That is so sweet! That's the best kind of love right there ... little kitty kisses in the night. Heaven!

Thanks for giving your experience about dosing in my condo - really good information for me!
