Nope, he was just hanging out. Definitely eager for some 20% when he dropped to 35 but he's always eager for the good stuff. We're thinking about a possible BCS or even skip for tonight if he doesn't show signs of coming back up. (He's holding fairly steady now in the 50s and hasn't gotten any HC since +7.) Also, he's been at this dose for so long that I forgot that he had another dip below 50 about a week and a half ago, so yesterday was actually his 4th drop below 50. He really should have gotten a reduction yesterday morning.

So now I'm thinking option 1: BCS (3 U?) or skip to drain the depot a bit and then stick with 5.5 U and see what happens as the depot rebuilds to that dose. Option 2: drop to 5.25 tonight and ride it out while the depot gradually comes down. I kind of like option 1. I'll still be up a bit late but Tim's overnight shift won't be as bad. But I also hate draining the depot too much and having him bounce when we're so close to a good dose right now.

Finally coming back up! If he's definitely still increasing at preshot, we might not need to think about the BCS; if he really bounces, we'll get to sleep without a BCS/skip. Dropping the dose to 5.25 might still make sense, though. By the time the bounce cleared, the depot would have dropped a bit.
