Last Night

We're Done !! I'm glad its behind now ..

Today she seems little active , same last night. but I can see how sleepy she is and trying to resist, still drinking too much.

I talked to her vet this morning, she said it looks like the shadow is only fluid, guess it's caused by IV fluids. it's little only so hope it doesn't increase , not a mass thank god.

She also suggested using Cosequin, so if anyone has a like that I can order from, please send it to me. I don't prefer Amazon as it takes longer time to arrive.

I asked her if I can order painkillers too , something other than Metacam. she gave me the name of Previcox. anyone familiar with that ? she said 57mg. I searched and it says for dogs and horses ! I don't know if its fine to be used for cats too?


I gave her Metacam last night at 12 AM and planning to give her again same time. hope it last for long. cuz I can tell she is in pain :sad:

Hi Aseel,
I hope that Noni will be feeling better and better and that her recovery will be speedy. Good news that the "shadow" is fluid and that it is not a big shadow. I hope it will go away soon.

They might have pain medicines, too. I hope that you can find something that will make Noni feel better.

What good news that the shadow is not a mass!. I hope the fluids go away soon and Noni feels wonderful. I'm sending lots of "no pain" vines and prayers for Noni, and rest vines and prayers for you. Hi Aseel. So glad that the mysterious shadow on the X-Rays wasn't a mass. It sounds like Noni is recovering well. She has a good nurse. Sorry I can't help with info on the meds.

Morning Aseel, I echo what everyone is saying about the shadow being fluid, good news and not a mass. Sending lot of healing vines and prayers for a good recovery for Noni. Comfort vines for yoi.

Ella thanks so much for the link, but there is no Kuwait in the Visa listening. I checked that already before but I think they don't accept Kuwaiti credit cards :sad:
 
Hi Aseel, So glad to hear that the shadow is nothing serious. I hope Noni makes a quick recovery and the pain meds bring her some relief.

I would imagine your own google search would help you find it... and be somewhere you can shop... with your card.

Google tracks everything we do so it should where you are and give you local links....
or whatever search engine you have....
 
I'm glad the shadow near her heart is just fluid and not something serious. I hope Noni heals up quickly and you can find some good pain meds for her other than the Metacam.

Great news for Noni!!!

I can't remember if I suggested tramadol before. I have not heard of the one you mentioned and I'd be very cautious. I'm assuming you can't get buprenorphine or buprenex? If not, I'd ask for tramadol first.

I hope she starts to come down. Poor baby!

I've used cosequin in the capsules. It never really did much for my cats. The adequan worked better.

I tried ordering Tramadol but it contains some drugs I guess so it's not allowed to get it via mail. I don't know if my mom can get it for me from Canada when she comes back. does it need prescription or I can get it from any vet off shelf ???

she should be back to Kuwait end of May.
