Yesterday, yellow, blech, dosecrease!

3/25 Recap:
AMPS 206 +9 202
PMPS 229 +9 240

I'm hoping this is NDW and Neko starts working the extra juice soon. Where oh where have the little green numbers gone?:( Of course, she's matching her numbers and out in the solarium today, and it's even a bit sunny there now. She could care less about the bean's angst. When we got up for rowing she came into the bedroom and did her classic drop, flop and roll (with tummy exposed) and did a big stretch. So she seems to be feeling good.

I'm off soon for a yearly wellness vetty visit for civie Theo. The leg that he has done a small limp on in the past seems to be more noticeable now. I'm taking him to Neko's acupuncture vet - I really liked how thorough she is.

OT: Lucked out on dry weather for rowing this AM. Race pieces so beans are beat. There's a race in a few weeks that I may or may not be able to attend (on Lake Stevens, Washington). Depends on race times and whether I can make it there and back between preshots. FYI - a photo of us on the water a couple days ago, I'm the leftmost pink shirt. https://instagram.com/p/0ofr1TnyTN/?taken-by=deepcoverowing

It's so beautiful there. The rain really helps. We are going to hit 94 today. Just skipped spring and went right to summer weather again.

Come on down Neko. The lagoon awaits!

It looks so peaceful out on the water. I hope everything went well with Theo's vetty visit and Neko slid down today.

Great picture. Looks so calm....probably not always!

Neko. You're making the bean nervous. Flops and tummy rub begging is fine, but add some lower numbers to that excessive cuteness. Soon!

Vines for Theo's vet visit.

What a beautiful photo. Such a lovely spot to row. It's a great sport - you must be super fit to do it.
My son David each year went in the annual race day for the bank he used to worked for. They would get up early before work twice a week to train on the harbour. They had 6 or 8 in each boat and it was a knock out type of race. It was always a great day- lunch supplied and harbourside seats. David's team won it one year. By the end of the day they were exhausted but elated!

Neko is same old, same old, down an entire point. She was playing with her nanners earlier so I was hopeful.

Back from Theo's vetty visit. I really like going to this vet, she just has so many more tools in her tool kit. She found that his tricep was quite a bit tighter on the one side. He got a little bit of the laser acupuncture on it. He seems to be walking a bit easier now. Of course at the vet he just slinked. The vet tried to get some urine via cysto, and they had me help hold him. I had to look away at the needle. They got some "steam" but he was hiding his urine and they only try once so as to not irritate his bladder. Wish me luck getting a home sample.

Mid 60's here today. Solarium is toasty. :)

Come on Neko bring those numbers down. Hope Theo's leg gets better. Had to help hold Toby down once when they stuck a needle in his bladder for a uti test. Made me want to cry. Hope we never have to do that again. I don't have to wonder why he gets so stressed out at the vets. Nice picture of you and the row team.
Take Care, Peg and Toby

"@@Tiger and Ruth - When Neko was on Lantus, no way I could go without at least a before bed test. But on Levemir, Neko is still going up at my bed time. And if she starts PMPS at yellow and is on the way up, I'm not going to like what I see before bed. And I always test more on a cycle with an increase."

Sorry Wendy, I misread your SS last night-I thought you had increased the night before, I was reading 3/24 as 3/25 :oops: I blame this stupid head cold DH gave me- aaaggh, I cant' seem to get my head out of the fog...

What a beautiful picture!!! Lake Stevens is our neck of the woods- What will that do for Neko's shot time?

Tiger has had to stay at the vet's for a couple hours to get her cysto done the past two times-that is nice that your vet quits after one try! Hope your little guy is feeling better- hugs and scritches Theo and Neko! :bighug:

Happy, happy blue! Especially after over two days of yellow.

@rhiannon and shadow - I wish Theo would pee in a cup. :pHe's a stealth peer, mostly does it while I'm asleep so it's gonna take a while. But it's not urgent, just following up to see how he's doing.

The rowing picture is not a lake, that's the Pacific Ocean. We row in the world's southern most fjord. It's protected from a lot of the winds but can still get quite nasty. @Tiger and Ruth - I'd move Neko's preshot up an hour in the AM over a couple of days and possibly back in the PM, depends on when the races I'd be in are scheduled and whether I can shoot and drive there in time.

Well done Neko no point having sunny yellows at night is there!

Thanks for sharing the rowing pic, it looks so peaceful it almost convinces me that exercise isn't necessarily a bad thing!
