3/26 Ming PMPS = 391 dose increase

Ok maybe I'm being dramatic but I do know he's bouncing from diving. :p

Is this "typical"/has this happened to kitties who just started Levemir? I was expecting some flatter cycles and I guess I'm just disappointed. :facepalm:

MARCH 26:

AMPS = 268

And I shot late again by 45 minutes (I am always so tired. I should probably go see the doctor and ask if this is an issue.) I didn’t even let Ming eat first before I gave him his shot. :woot: I tested him first of course and he ate well afterwards.

First off, you could be at too low a dose of Levemir to see how it can be flatter. You started low, he had a bit of an initial reaction, but I don’t see green again. Maybe PM of 24th? Regardless, depot is build, I am not liking what this dose is doing, time for an increase. Also remember that it can take a cat a month or two to learn how to work the new hormone (insulin).

I gathered enough data during the day and spot checks during the PM cycles, to know when I needed to get up for a nadir check, and when I could sleep after the before bed test. Thankfully rowing gets me up at what was +9, nadirish, 4 times a week. Too bad you didn’t get a before bed on the 24th. Neko’s onset was after I went to bed, but based on her AM cycle, PMPS and before bed test, I could figure out if I needed to set an alarm.

Yes, I am really disappointed in myself that I wasn't able to get enough/any tests on the 24th PM cycle.

But yes, I want to increase too! I'm glad you're suggesting it since I wasn't sure if I was being impatient. Ming going into blues at night is throwing me off.

Thank you for this info! I didn't know that :)

PMPS = 391

The times of my tests during the AM cycle were wrong today but they're correct on the SS. It just won't be correct in the condo :)

Upped to 6 units!
