Yesterday was "let's play it safe" day, by Manfred Mannie. Or so it seems... It was a hiking day for me, so I missed most of the middle of the morning cycle, and have no clue on what floor he visited on his way down. I'd like to think it was green. YAY! The drop at +3.5 was significant enough that I did have DH feed him a couple of extra very small mini meals near his nadir. I always worry about him while I'm gone - at least with the extra fuds on board, as seal as they were, I didn't worry as much. So Mannie: what'd'ya say that we get back to those really nice blue cycles again? I kinda liked those... Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon Now about that amps this morning.....

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D I hiked with my youngest DS yesterday . When we got home Mannie was waiting at the top of the stairs. I know that look: "Where have you been? You've been gone all day! That permission slip was for half day only! Now get in here and fed me!" And off he went and sat by his bowl. :lol: :lol: I had to tell him he as 2 hours early, and no I wasn't filling his bowl... I response?: off to the nanners - seems they understood his woes better than his bean. :lol: The pattern with the nanners remains the same - we have two circles, one within the other. He somehow manages to sleep onto of that pile.... what a guy. AND!: great test, shoot and clean plate club - AND auto feeder which Elsa still thinks has her name on it. Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am scheduled to hike with a friend today, but I truly expect that she will cancel - the weather today isn't the best. Rains are due any moment, and well the hike chosen is known for being exceptionally muddy when it rains... so - we shall see...and if she does? I really have alot of basics to do, since I played all weekend, and didn't go to the store, or do the laundry or clean the house, or or or or..... :lol: :lol:

Hey everybody!! What's up? Anybody got any plans for today? Seems like there is alot of rain everywhere... so maybe we should go to Florida and find a sunny beach. we could build sand castles and chase crabs and stuff... and then have a beach cookout. What'd'ya say? you guys in? let me know. ~~ Mannie

Mannie, what's with the pink start to the day? Did you have too much good food yesterday? Let's get back to those blues and greens, OK?

Michelle, Deception Pass looks like a fabulous hike. What a nice day you had for it. I love the pink wildflowers growing in the rock in the first pic. I hope that the rain and mud will clear up today so that you and your friend can go hiking. In any event, there are always other things to do (clean, shop, paperwork, etc. etc.). It's snowing here and needless to say we are not going paddling!

Morning Michelle and sounds like Mannie was a little miffed there; :lol: they are so funny when we leave for a few hours. Sounds like you and DS had a great hike with those beautiful pics. Mannie, time to come down from the pink floor. I hope it does turn out okay if the hike happens. Our rain held off until last evening and continues this morning. Have a great day, Michelle.

Hi Ella - so agreed on Mannie.... ugh! Deception Pass is nice - the views of the ocean etc are really great. I think we will be OK today - the rains chnace has gone down, so looks like we are going. :-D and yes on the options... ugh on that! glad we are a go for today. :-D

Hi Ann - yes on Mannie - that was kinda funny. :lol: :lol: He has since recovered. :cool: I think we will be good to go for the hike today - they ave revised the forecast, and the rains haven't shown... WOO HOO!

Hi Barb - It was nice with my DS - it seems to be something he is interested in so hopefully we can go again this hiking season. we had a really nice time. Looking better for teh hike with my friend. I am grateful that the rains haven't shown, YAY! And I agree on Mannie - down, please!

Hi Devon - I think so too! Silly boy! And then I took off again for a while this morning: another hike. Guess he's is a little put out. :shock: :lol: And thanks on the day. We took a chance and the weather actually held for us. woo hoo!

Hi John - I so agree and so I told him when I got home. Enough of this yellow stuff... you can surf the blues just as well. He face looked kinda like "I'll be yerllow it i want to". okay then..... Well here's hoping he has a chnage of heart. And many thanks - the hike was good! :-D :cool:

263 @ PMPS. Headed down some from is +11. I also started a new pen tonight, mainly because he was due, we were on day 29. I wonder too if the old one was losing its "umph", and hence the slow rise in BG over all. Guess we shall see on that one. :-D

It's so funny how our kitties are not pleased when we "abandon" them, yet all those (gasp) "non cat people" out there think cats are aloof loners. I dare any of them to try and go to the bathroom alone in my house :lol: !

Nice flat yellow cycle there...got something in the works, Mannie??

Hi Amy - Isn't that the truth! That is so Mannie, and so agreed on the non-cat people... I could so prove them wrong, in so many areas..... I can nerve go the the bathroom without Mannie following me there. :lol: And I really hope you are right on the flat yellow... I could so use some blues. :-D

Goooood Evening!! Looks like a gorgeous hike you took today!! WOW Deception pass is lovely!
We had a chilly windy day in the 50's, but tonite a frost--will probably kill all the flowering fruit trees that already bloomed :cry:
Mannie's bouncing & Moonie is too--trying to come on down--Hope you have a lovely Ni nI!

Sunny yellows beat stinky pinky, way to go Manster. :-D
And gorgeous sunny weather on Whidbey Is. I have a dear friend who lives and works on S Whidbey, though I have yet to see a sunny day when I visit! ;-)
