Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the day was been a good one. It was visit Seattle Day. Seattle was great, it felt nice to head into town, and it is always always nice to see Barb. Few things can beat time spent with a friend over a cup of coffee. Weather was awful there, but oh well. We talked alot about the new manager. Barb isn't all that thrilled with her,says the learning curve for her is huge. For whatever ridiculous reason they hired a corporate payroll manager with no experience. It's beginning to show. There is a large part of me that is glad I'm not part of it all anymore. Guess she has told a few folks that the exactly what she signed on for. :shock: :lol: :lol: I wonder how long she will last. The morning was busy too, and I was able to get a few things done. I love it when that happens. It was also Breffis with Anthony day. Yahoo! Breakfast was great. I enjoy that place. Good food, good service, friendly atmosphere. He had eggs, bacon and a stack of pancakes. Me: a veggie omelet, my mainstay there. It was a great time. "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cool: :cool: :cool: The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... The weather yesterday, and today, is really chilly, wet, drizzly. With the home weather being so stormy and wet in the morning the kitties were in bed mode most of the day yesterday. SMART! :razz: Elsa had to go out for a bit, she insisted. :shock: It was so reminiscent of the last time she went out in the rain. It wasn't two minutes later when I turned around and saw her at the door, waiting to come back in. Normally she will do this over and over again, but not yesterday: only one trip and off to her warm bed she went. Bug too! Lola tried, but she was up and about as much as she was in sleep mode. She just can't sit still for very long. We had runs and window watching and door and glass pounding, shower curtain batting, frig door riding, all the things she loves to do. She continues to be such fun. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for some possible sunny weather in the afternoon, maybe we will get lucky and see that yellow thing in the sky. :-D HOPE SO! A trip to the park with the beach would be prefect for the afternoon. I will try and get to condos when I can....

Sounds like a great social day for you yesterday. Oh my on the new manager. That would be very difficult for Barb. I hope it works out for all of them. We spend so much time at tbp.

Yay for breffis with Anthony! How is his job going? Always love the pictures. What a sweet tradition.

Hi Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) It was a good one. SO nice to be able to see folks once a week, and revisit the ole work place. I so agree on that manager, and me too. Anthony is doing well, job is good, a bit frustrating at times, but going along OK. I do enjoy our breakfast tradition - fun times, good food!
 
Ahhh .. sounds like a nice day yesterday! Yes, catch up time with a friend is always nice .. I hope the new manager catches on soon for everyone's sake .. I don't blame the kitties for wanting to just nap on a cold wet day .. Heck, that's all I want to do too :lol:
 
Hi Michelle! I'm glad you had such a nice day yesterday, it's always nice to have some "social" time :-D . I think I want to have what your son has for breakfast...right now, I'm starving! :lol: . I'm glad the kitties are being so good, and getting plenty of beauty rest. I'd like to be in my warm bed too. Have a great day with the boys, I hope you see some sunshine!
 
I'm glad you had a good visit with Anthony and Barb yesterday. I hope you got some sun today for some outside time with the boys.

Elsa made a good decision to stay in out of the rain.
 
Yesterday was a perfect indoor day. I kept thinking of those poor folks in the slide zone - that was not good weather for them. :sad: I'm surprised Elsa lasted that long outside. :lol: We saw that yellow orb in the sky on and off today - hope you did too.

Love your breakfast tradition - a great way to keep in touch with your son.
 
I agree with you on being out of corporate life. It is no fun at all, and just seems to be getting worse. It's nice that you still keep in touch with some of your old coworkers!

Maybe Elsa is finally catching on about going out in yucky weather????? Nah, then she wouldn't be Elsa! Kitties are so silly with all their rituals.

I hope you got some sun today - I saw lots of swimming videos go by on FB.....goooooooo, Energizer Fishie!

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great evening, and that the day has been good. You sugar babies surfing well tonight? It was such a mixed bag here today, weather wise. We made 53 maybe, rains have been hit and miss here all day. Dry one minute then a downpour the next, with it all over within 10 minutes. If one let 30 minutes go by and it starts all over again. There was no sun... well maybe a ray or two about 9, but none since. More rains are due tonight along with some thunder. Cool! we may have sky drama. : )! We did well, chaos ruled as it always seems to, but a controlled chaos. :lol: The swimming time was a good as it always is. We did some swimming, some playing, and just had alot of fun. They know him well enough now that a few of the guards will come and say hello, or he will go to them and say Hi. Kinda cool. It was a fairly normal day there, with the usual stuff. The energizer fishie ruled the roost once again. :cool: We were headed out when he says that he wants to go to the terrace pool next. :shock: :lol: . uh, no. I really do hope he never looses his love for all of this. :-D :cool: It was pouring when we went to the car, so both of us said well maybe no pool trail today, as it was really wet out. We ate lunch once William had joined us, and within 10 minutes the rains had stopped, enough that the little guy decides that the trail is a go. So off we went. The skunk cabbage is in bloom there now. They really do have alot of it. So today he learned about skunk cabbage. :-D :razz: That became our mission, to find more, and show his little bro. He about came unglued when he realized that the tiny magenta colored flowers on those bushes were for salmonberries. That was funny. That became mission number two - to find more, and talk abut the berries of summer. By the time we made it back to the car it was pouring again. shesshhh! all in all: it was a great time. He truly is fun to take on a trail, he really does look at alot of stuff. AWESOME time! I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Devon - it was! I so agree on that catch-up time with friends. Me too on the manager. Yupp, naps ruled today - it was cool out, alot of wet out. Even Elsa didn't want to go out today. :shock: ;-)

Hi Rachel - THX!, and I agree. Social tie is good. I don't do that alot, but it is nice at least once a week to go and see friends. :cool: I agree on the kids breffis - he always has the good ones, piled high with berries and whip cream. YUM! THX on the kitties, and today, No sun, but we did get some rain breaks that we took advantage of. All in all, a great day!

Hi Carla - THX, me too! I just love those breffis's. It is nice to hang out with the kid for a few, over good food and coffee. Barb and I have been doing the tuesday coffee thing for quite a while, still enjoy the time spent. No sun today, but it was good enough to be out for a while. We dodged the rains rather successfully! YAY!

Hi Amy - a big yes on the corporate life thing - i so do not miss it. It is getting worse, in so many ways. Glad I'm no longer part of it, but do enjoy hearing all the gossip and seeing friends from TBP. I wonder on Elsa.... I can only hope! :roll: But i know you are right - they are so set upon those rituals. Elsa sure is! LOL, yes way too many swim videos! I never realize how many I do until I go to upload the lot. Crazy, But he had fun. ENERGIZER FISHIE ROCKS!

Yesterday sounded like a fine Seattle day, and the on and off rain today reminded me of many, many Seattle days!
Glad you and Nicholas had a good swim day and a good walk in the woods. Skunk cabbage is always looked forward to here as a sign of spring. But tonight it will go down to -14, they say!!!

Morning Ella ~O) That it was, and so typical of Seattle weather... it looks like it will be much the same today too:L on and off rains, but a decent temp. We did well yesterday day too - fun times. Nicholas really enjoys being out on a trial, and hunting for tings. ALot of fun. William seem to be following in his footsteps. :-D The skunk cabbage hunt was fun. And you are -14???? B RRRRRR! Stay warm!
