Yesterday's condo

I almost didn't come home to test Edward just now. Thank heavens I did - he gave me a 37 & a 46 at +4.25 Whew, adrenaline rush! He is chowing down on HC food right now. He's ravenous, but otherwise acting normal (even purring while I tested him). I'm going to test again in 30 minutes. Fingers crossed his numbers come up.

Well, the good news is that Edward responds to food/carbs very quickly. His BG jumped up to 110 in just 45 minutes. I'm going to monitor him over the next hour, and if he's not falling again, I'm heading back to work

They communicate telepathically I swear! When one kitty's #s goes down, a few like to follow along. It's like Pennywise trying to lure the kids into the sewer!

Thank you - I'm doing good! It's comforting to know that he responds so quickly to food when he goes low. I sure hope the reduction sticks, and he doesn't go high again like he was at the beginning of the month.

Me too. He seems to be very sensitive to food/carbs. Which is a double-edged sword, but it helped in this case.
