I'm going to aim for a +3.5 or +4.
Unfortunately, testing is definitely the one thing that aggravates his ears still I did put hydrocortisone on them this AM since I know I have to test mid-cycle.

Oh man...I wish I'd waited til +3... now I've got to test again to see if he's going to ask for a reduction.
I gave him the tiniest nibble of LC bc I don't want to carb him out of a reduction request if that's where we're at.

Also...his poor ear I had to poke a lot bc he moved when I went to get the blood the first time & smeared the strip. Sigh. I put a little hydrocortisone on it after bc he legit scratched it.

Testing is definitely aggravating his ears

Holding steady... will test again at +3.5, but if we're still in the 50s, I'll just be feeding and seeing what happens tomorrow morning. Maybe secretly hoping for a 49 though...a high request for a reduction? I'd be OK w/ that...
