You can start with that. It can be given every 8 hours if needed. How much does he weigh?

@THH & Snowcrash (GA) Elise and THH, so far this isn't going well.

I gave him 1/2 ondensetron last night. Overnight, he ate a bunch, drank a bunch, and had diarrhea.

This morning as I'm getting it ready to give to him, I'm discovering that I have already ground up the cerenia and all my remaining budesonide tablets and re-encapsulated them together. So I don't have any budesonide pills available to give him with ondensetron.

Since someone said some cats get both ondensetron AND cerenia, I'll just give him the budesonide/cerenia capsule this morning, and continue alternating like that until the vet gets back from vacation on Monday.

UPDATE: half diarrhea again in box this morning.

Unless you have other suggestions? Thanks much.

Diarrhea can happen with pancreatitis and you know of course with IBD. Has he eaten anything different? You can give both cerenia and ondansetron. They work differently. Have a 4mg of ondansetron is a good dose for his weight.

Yes but the diarrhea had cleared up in the past. I'm wondering if the ondansetron has caused it and is not a good idea. No different food recently.
