Yesterday. Caber Yr 2 Day 173

So we had a day of good numbers. Now back to the not so good numbers.

In the 40s here. A bit cold to work outside. Wish I could get stuff done inside.

How is everyone holding up? Schools cancelled rest of the year. What about people having wedding? Do they cancel? How about funerals, you can't cancel them. Just wondering.

Have a good day.

Nice cycles yesterday so I guess today is bounce day?
We're doing ok here. I'm still sick although I've gone out the last 3 mornings. Going to places where I know there won't be others.
Our premier announced that school wouldn't resume Apr 6 but hasn't committed to anything. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't resume until September.
The DSIL of a friend of mine passed away a few days ago. They still had a private family funeral. My friend complained that her not-so-dear daughter in law (DIL and son in process of divorce) wouldn't let their 2 kids go to funeral. I wouldn't have either. Not sure I'd even go to a funeral; hope I don't have to make that decision.

I hope Ollie comes back down today. We're doing fine here. I hope things settle down soon and people start getting over this.

Hope you feel better soon. I'm glad I don't have to make that decision either.

Husband went for groceries this morning. He said staples are pretty much back on the shelves. However, now I guess people are hoarding the snack food. No Hershey nuggets or peanut M&Ms. I asked if he got plain M&Ms or different chocolate like Dove brand. Nope, I GOT NO CHOCOLATE !!!!!! This has gone to far now.

Amazing to see how well Olive is doing now. Hopefully she will clear the bounce quickly!
What about people having wedding? Do they cancel?
Life is giving them their last chance to really think about it.... :p but seriously I think their only solution is to cancel !!
Here can't work outside, still have a few feet of snow but it's been melting fast lately.

Hope your dad is doing OK. My old uncle is furious about his neighbour who came for news but did not want to come in and chat as she usually does. He doesn't believe she's doing this to protect him and does not realize that others can give him the virus.....:( So right now he's mad at everybody!!
Take care of yourself Paula!

My dad called me last night at 10:30 pm. Asked when I was getting there. I told him no one is allowed in because of the virus. He said I'm not sick. I reply and we want to keep it that way. Told him President has issued everything to shut down and people are to stay home. Dad goes how long? I said for awhile yet. Dad goes no, I've been here to long and need to get home. Went on like this for a bit until he huffed and hung up.

Got my feeders filled. Now out of birdseed. Which is ok, because I pull them in for the summer because of bears. Bulbs I planted in front of house coming up. Still have a lot of daffys to move but now it has to wait until they bloom and die back. Tons of clearing edge of yard and a few garden spots yet.

Yesterday there were 16 deer in the yard. 3 definitely pregnant. Some maybe but to hard to tell yet. A few young ones. No bucks though.

Our stores are short on everything! Husband got the last 8 pack of tp yesterday.
Most of our stores are having a "seniors hour" at the beginning of each day. Stocks are probably better then. But, IMO, do we really want to go to the store when people who are "one of the vulnerable populations" are the ones in the store?

Hope Ollie decides to visit the beach today.
Things over here regarding food and supplies are still scarce. We do not leave the house if it can be helped, went online and did "insta shop". The shopper sends photos of the isles and things are still empty. Still no toilet paper or paper towels. Ice cream, meat, chicken and eggs still hard to get.

Looks like Olive is doing the roller coaster Like my Ravan ! Whee! Up we go then back down

More greens today!! Yay Ollie!! :D

In Montreal, no groups of 2 or more allowed $1000 fine. People are asked (ordered nicely, hey we're Canadians, lol) to stay home except for grocery shopping and online shopping is encouraged. Problem is lots of chains arent set up for this and their websites keep crashing.

Look at that, a sneaky pickle. :D

No chocolate! :arghh: We definitely don't have our favourite but have been able to find backups. Store delivery is nuts. I have been ordering for my parents (97) for 2.5 years now, same store. The website opens up for picking a delivery date one week before. So, to order food to be delivered a week from now, I get the food order all ready, then right after midnight I confirm the order and delivery date. Crazy! Sometimes the small island store has better stock. Walmart had Lysol wipes in yesterday, 1 per family, for all of 40 minutes. I wasn't there.

There was a story about a wedding in one of the suburbs nearby. They had just the small group for the actual ceremony, then went out into the street which was lined with cars and their friends. The friends all put the same tune on their car radios, rolled down the windows and the couple danced down the street. :) They'll remember that a long time.

Wendy I love that story about the wedding! You gotta do what you gotta do! And it's a memory that is very unique!
