fPLI is slightly elevated. Kidney values are slightly elevated. The hock .... the vet feels that the surgeon can fix it with a 70% chance of it resolving. The leg would need to be splinted and need weekly bandage changes done. He'd have to spend all day at the vet for this. The other option is amputation 🫣 but the vet doesn't feel that's in Leroy's best interest. There's also an option we're not going to consider.

Civvie's kidney values are slightly elevated too. The vet is prescribing a powder thing that binds to something so it's less work for the kidneys to filter out. I can't recall the name but it starts with a P. Maybe it's a phosphorus binder type thing.

I assume it’s a phosphorus binder (aluminum hydroxide?) for civvie too, to help support the kidneys.
