Overnight nadir was no lower than 225.

This morning we started a new vial of insulin. The generic glargine, this time. It shouldn’t make any difference in how it works… I hope? (Unless it works better for being new; that would be good. I’ll have to watch him today. Weather doesn’t make leaving appealing anyway lol.)

Question for anyone with experience: is there any working difference between Semglee and Lantus? Because two shots into Jackson’s new vial, I finally really read the paperwork and realized that it’s actually generic Semglee, not really generic Lantus exactly. Though the pharmacy filled it as such,

Should not be a problem. People have switched from Lantus to Basaglar or Semglee (because they are cheaper) and not found any difference.

Thanks. I do hope so. Because this was a LOT cheaper… also I can’t afford another vial even at the lesser price, just now.

He’s just running so high it’s frustrating today. Thought it meant he would come down, but he hasn’t much yet. Some mid-yellows this morning, but all pink tonight after a deep-red preshot. Just… CAT.
