Amps 99 (on Libre)
Good morning,
Ivy had a nice overnight cycle in blue on the Libre. And a nice Amps.

She is jumpy at her shot lately. Today same as yesterday am. But I don’t think any insulin escaped this time.

Will be on the phone today investigating the hyperthyroid treatment options and trying to get hold of my vet today if she’s in the office. And will call clinics to see what our options are and if she’s a good candidate for the I131 procedure due to her kidney situation and her sedation issues and my concern if her not eating if left at a clinic without me to syringe feed if necessary.
Very stressful time. I’m hardly sleeping.
Hope you all have a great week ahead. Safe surfing.
And thank you all for your continued support. It means so much and is so helpful :bighug::facepalm::bighug:

(((Staci)))
Good luck with calling and figuring things out.
Good to know all the options and information! Knowledge is power!
I'll be thinking of you. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Great start of the AM cycle. Hope Ivy sails nicely.
:bighug::bighug::bighug:
Thanks, Kit, I sure hope I can get things under some form of control. My mental health depends on it I think. I’ve been doing that breathing techniques Marje suggested to help me with this stress.
Hope you have a safe and nice day ahead. And tell your girl to behave today!! She’s been a handful I see :bighug::bighug::bighug:

47 on Libre at +2.10. Active cycle today. Fed tsp of 12.5% to slow steep drop. She will still drop though.

A nice start for Ivy, but a quick drop down. I hope you're able to keep her from dropping too low.
You and Ivy are in my thoughts. I hope you're able to find some good information today that will help ease the stress a little. I know it's rough since she is pretty spicy. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STACI!!!

Sending you so many hugs! She's certainly not helping your stress level with her numbers today. I hope you are able to get some good answers today and that helps you make a decision, and that Ms Ivy decides to have a steady, dark green rest of her day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Morning Staci. I hope you get a lot of helpful answers today to difficult questions.. I know how strong you are and will find that perfect fit for Ivys treatment. I’m sure Ivy is not the first feisty kitty who would need extra attention for their treatment. People working in specialty practices usually have seen it all and are prepared to go the extra mile for patients since they know how stressful these illnesses are. I know the cancer center we used for our little one was amazing, not at all like a regular veterinarian practice. They would do anything that was needed for the patient and their mom (or dad).

Hang in there and breathe….knowledge is power!

Lo Libre =80 Contour at +3.25
Lo Libre (no data being sent from sensor ) =88 +4.5 on Contour.

I think the Libre can’t function well when she stays in the LO range for an extended period of time and it seems to stop transmitting data.
I’ve tested 2x and she’s in 80s on her Contour meter.
Hmmmm. ;)

Thank you Alicia. That means a lot to us. We appreciate you so much. I hope you had a great trip and Kit and Eric did great together! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Deb, thanks for letting me know that. It’s helpful. I just hope the kind of intervention possibly needed would be possible given these circumstances. Lots of questions.

Good meowning Staci and Ivy!

Sounds like it will be a very busy and stressful day but hopefully you can get some answers today and move forward. Her numbers look really good this meowning. Hopefully she surfs safely through the day and no bounces in the PM.

Nestle, Peanut and I would also like to wish you a Happy Birthday!!! We know the timing is not the best with everything going on but please take a moment to celebrate yourself and your accomplishments with Ivy so far. Enjoy your day :cat::bighug::cat::bighug:

The last two times Tiger went below the alarm setting, his libre froze there and had to restart the app. I dint know and I sat there wondering why he his numbers weren’t moving even after food. I finally restarted and they jumped up.

Wishing you a Happy Birthday!:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Happy Birthday, Staci.

I'm sorry to learn about Ivy's recent diagnosis. With all the extra help you get from the group, I'm sure your well informed decision will be what is best for Ivy and you. I know it is difficult to hear a new diagnosis, but think of it as just another puzzle piece for Ivy that you've found. Try not to stress and just take one day at a time. Ivy's numbers have really improved since the last time I was around. Be proud of both of you.

All the best for your birthday, Staci!

I hope besides your research for Ivy you also had some enjoyable time for yourself. It is so easy to forget our own needs, caring for our kittys. I send you a hug and my best wishes! :bighug::cat:

Thank you so much, Karolina. It’s been a very busy day on the phone. Looking forward to crashing in that sofa tonight if Ivy stays steady. I could use a decent night sleep.
I love the birthday kitty graphic. Just adorable. You always find just the right one for every occasion :)
Sending love back to you 3 sweeties :bighug::kiss:

I think it’s a glitch with the sensor. I’ve restarted the phone. Closed the app. Nothing works when this happens. Sometimes it comes back. Sometimes the sensor just shuts down and ends. (Kind of crappy product. I’m sure it is made for pennies)
:(

Thank you so much! You’re right, we are all consumed with their needs. Can’t help myself. Just need for her to be ok!
Hope you and Binie have a nice night. Safe surfing! :bighug::cat::bighug:
